The next morning, Sarah wakes up to her alarm going off and then suddenly stopping. She then feels kisses be placed all over her face and neck, when she opens her eyes she instantly sees her loving husband smiling at her. "Mmm, good morning handsome." Sarah said, placing a kiss on John B's lips, "Good morning beautiful." He replied. She rolls over onto her back and sees Wheezy sleeping back towards them. "We have to wake her up soon so she can get ready." She whispered. "She looks so peaceful." He whispered back, hugging her from behind. "Let's get up and get ready, and come wake her up in about an half hour so she can get ready for school." John B told her, "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea." "You should know that I have good ideas all the time." He joked. "Ha ha ha." She replied sarcastically.
About a half hour later, Sarah and John B were dressed and ready for the day. When they had come out of the room earlier, Pope had already been up, 10 minutes later, Kie and JJ had emerged from their room. They had all said their greetings and were now hanging around talking and laughing. Sarah had seen the time and decided that it was now a decent time to wake Wheezy up, she gave John B a quick kiss on the cheek and headed towards their room. When she walked in, the lights were off and Wheezy was still in bed, the only difference being that Sarah could hear a bit of sniffling. "Hey Wheez, you doing okay?" She asked as she walked up to the bed. "I don't know, I feel conflicted." Wheezy replied with a hoarse voice. "Would you like to explain?" Sarah had asked in a calming voice that she knew Wheezy had always enjoyed when she was upset. "Well on one hand, I am glad he is gone, you know. But on the other, he's still my dad. Like I know that he was never there for me and neither had Rose and that it had always been you, but there is still a small part of me that is screaming that he's my dad and that I have to be sad." Wheezy hiccuped out. Sarah had quickly grabbed Wheezy into a comforting hug where she whispered thoughtful words to her to calm Wheezy down. "I know exactly how you feel." Sarah whispered a couple moments later, "You do?" Wheezy asked, "Yeah, because I know all of the horrible things he has done to others and that horrible things he has put us through. But he is still the guy who taught me how to ride a bike, comforted me when my mom died, at least up until he met Rose a couple days later. He was even there for me when Topper had chewed me out after Midsummers. Your feelings are valid to have Wheez, and if you ever want to talk to someone about how your feeling, anyone in this house will be willing to listen to you without judgement, especially everyone who sleeps in this room." Sarah told her, "Even Alaia?" Wheezy asked with a giggle. "Especially her." Sarah said with a chuckle. "Do you still wanna go to school today?" She asked, "Yeah, at least until lunch, that way I can get everything that I need for homework." Wheezy replied wiping her eyes. "Okay you get ready and once your done come out and eat the delicious breakfast that John B had cooked us this morning." Sarah told her getting off the bed. "Okay." She replied. "Oh hey Sarah?" She said as Sarah was opening the door, "Yeah sweetheart?" "Thank you, for everything." "You don't need to thank me, I am doing this because I want you to have a decent childhood. No one deserves to go through what you are." Sarah told her, and with that she had left the room leaving Wheezy to get ready for the day.
