Love calls

Jake's POV:

I was walking home, I really didn't want to but I had to. I can't hide forever, well he kicked me out, but still. Sometimes you just have to do things you really don't wanna do.

After a few minutes I was in front of my house. I walked up to the door and knocked on it. My dad opened the door and I really regretted coming back. "I see that you're back. I'm hoping you've come to a realization on your actions." He says, I nod my head then he lets me come inside.

"You were right, I was wrong. I understand it's wrong for me to like boys. I'm sorry" I say, avoiding eye contact. I didn't mean anything I just said. I really wanted to tell him to go fuck himself.

"Good, now go up to your room" he says. I start walking upstairs then I turned around. "Also by the way I got invited to a Christmas party this weekend"I say.

"Fun, maybe you'll meet some girls there." He says while smiling. I really wanted to slap that smile off his face. I then gave him a light smile and went upstairs. I laid down on my bed feeling alone.

I really wanted to feel the comfort of someone holding me until I fell asleep again. I then smiled remembering me and Devon hanging out. Also how tomorrow we're gonna hang out again.

That thought makes me happy. I then start to realize I need to pick what to wear. Even though I don't even know what we're doing. It is expected to snow tomorrow night.

The rest of that day felt like a blur. It was just me stuck in my room on my phone. I then get a phone call from Nadine.

"Oh my fucking god. Jake I need to tell you something." Nadine says, "let me guess Lexy texted you hearts or something?" I asked in a joking tone. "I kissed Lexy" Nadine says, she said it very calmly too.

"......what?" I say, then it hits me. "WHAT?! OH MY GOD" I immediately stand up while saying that. "Yeah it just happened after me and Lexy left Devon's house it happened like out of no where" she explains.

"Okay now you have to tell me everything that happened" I say, she then giggles a little. "Okay, also I think you'll need popcorn for this" she says jokingly.

Nadine's flashback

Me and Lexy were walking home from hanging out at Devon's. Our relationship has been very different since we told each other that we like each other. I was worried it was going to ruin our friendship.

But now sometimes there's flirting, hanging out a lot, and still texting 24/7 but it still felt different. It was a good kind of different though.

We were walking to her house, it was only a couple of minutes away. I didn't even notice that I was holding Lexy's hand. We weren't talking but we were listening to music together. I had one earbud in and she had the other.

We were listening to some Taylor Swift. I told Lexy that I only listened to her popular songs like shake it off and bad blood. But that was really it.

When I told her that she was shocked. Ever since she was turning me into a Swiftie. I didn't mind, I actually liked her music. Also I like hanging out with Lexy. Even if it was just us listening to music.

After a couple of minutes we were at her house. Then we were hanging out in her living room on the couch. We were really close together at that point.

A few minutes passed while we were talking about the little things and listening to music. "Do you wanna kiss me..?" Lexy blurted out of no where.

I sat up and I was looking at Lexy. I had butterflies in my stomach as soon as she said that. I was just staring at her and I was able to speak until Lexy spoke again. "Shit I'm sorry Nadine, I shouldn't have just asked that out of no where"
