"Alright... who do we start with?" I ask Sakuya
"We ask the first reptilian we see" Sakuya replies
"What time is it by the way?" I ask
"Um... should be... 20:30... but there is still daylight... might have recalibrate my watch" Sakuya answers
"Huh... OH! Found someone" I point to a reptilian in the shade... on some sort of bed?
We walk to them
"Hey, do you mind if we ask you some questions?" I ask them
The reptilian looked confused...
"###################" Sakuya says, likely translating what I said

'Can you just... make me able to understand them?' I ask Sakuya
'You sure? It will cost some of your power' they reply
'Yes, it's not very... effective for you having to translate everything' I reply
'Alright. Ill try to minimize any power usage for it'
"Ok, what questions did you want to ask about?" the reptilian says
"Do you know of any temples nearby?" I ask
"Temples... not to my knowledge..." they reply
"Ok... what about these housing, why do most houses not have windows?" Sakuya asks
"To keep the light to a minimum so we can sleep" They answer
"Are you all nocturnal?" I ask
"No, we sleep whenever we get tired or get too hot" they respond
I look around...
"Where are the lights?" I ask
"We don't need them, we have the sun god's blessing of eternal light" They say
"Ok... if they have eternal light... why isn't it hotter...?" I ask Sakuya
"They could just have good eyes that let them see in the dark... which means they do better in the dark... and that could be their eternal light" Sakuya responds
"Alright... thank you for your time, have a good day" I say as I walk away
"We should interview an inkling that has come to live here" Sakuya adds
"Right... light seems to be a big deal... almost like there is too much of it... but that is life in a desert, even if it were an oasis." I say trying to point out a main detail
"Yeah, but something isn't right... we aren't high or low enough on the earth to get sunlight at all hours of the day..." Sakuya comments
"Maybe there some documents about the founding of this place that can answer some questions about the temple..." I add
"What if they don't know it is a temple..." Sakuya theorizes
"Hmmm possible but unlikely they wouldn't at least know of its existence considering the sheer size of it..." I reply
We bump into an inkling
I fall backwards but Sakuya catches me
"Sorry about that, we weren't watching where we were going." Sakuya says
