Siya
"Breathe Siya Breathe.... " I try to calm myself.
As I stand in front of Tasha's apartment knowing that my parents are inside waiting for me.
I close my eyes. Thinking about myself this time.
I press the bell of the apartment. It takes some seconds when Tasha comes and opens the door for me.
Now I'm standing in front of my parents. Not knowing what to say. I prepared myself for how to deal with this situation. But right now I'm fucking sacred don't know from what but I'm?
They didn't say anything, they just looked at me. Maybe, they want me to start first and think about how to manipulate me again with their fucking reputation, family name and blah blah blahhhhh!!!
"Why siya.... Why did you do this with us? We're your parents, not your enemy. Why did you run away from your marriage..... If you don't want to marry, just tell us. We will stop everything for you beta. " Dad said, everything in his soft yet stern voice made me think that my dad had a soft side too.
New discovery wowwww!!!
But the thing is, if I had spoken to them at that time, would they have listened to me?
"Yes..... Beta, we don't want to force you. It's your life siya. You have the right to decide for yourself. Why don't you tell us? At least just the first time." Now my mom shocked me. Did they drink or eat something wrong?
I mean I can't believe in them. I know they are my parents but they never love me or care for me. Like I want in my life.
I'm shocked to see them like this.
"Mom.... Dad, you guys are okay. I mean you are not upset with me" Nervously in a low voice I said this and looked at them. Waiting for their answer.
As I never expected in any kind of daydream that they both smile at my question..... I mean in this question.
"Why would we?" Dad said calmly, making me more shocked than previously.
"Seriously?" I asked again. My eyes widened at that time.
Now, my mom stood up from her seat and made her way to me.
She sat beside me patting my head. She said "Siya, We both love you. Why can't you understand this? I know we both always stay away from you. And always choose business over you. But it doesn't mean that we don't love you. But now I promise you that nothing bad will happen." I just listen to my mom keenly. Try to find out what's the sudden change.
I didn't say anything. Just keep my mouth shut.
"If you don't want to marry Aarav, So it's fine ... Now we won't force you okay" She further added. Saying this she looked at me as she waited for my reply.
Wait, Aarav..... Oh, it means that my not-so-to-be husband's name was Aarav.
Well, who the fucking care of this.
"Okay, so if your regret speech finishes. I want to take leave from you" Saying this I made my way upstairs. Ignoring my mom and dad.
But before I completely left them. Someone stopped me in the middle.
