But I got smarter, I got harder in the nick of time
Honey, I rose up from the dead, I do it all the time
I got a list of names, and yours is in red, underlined
I check it once, then I check it twice, oh!
Ooh, look what you made me do
Look what you made me do
Look what you just made me do
Look what you just made me....___________________________________________
Siya
'Fuck it, I love you'.
‘It's just a zero-point one per cent of my kiss….’
“What?” I jolted awake from my sleep.
"Hey, Siya, are you okay? What's wrong?" Tasha consoles me as she rubs my shoulder.
I turned to look at her. Her eyes were sleepy, indicating she had slept with me. But why hadn't she gone to her home?
“What are you doing here?... Wait, how did I get here? I was outside... I was with Ryan…” I said, as all the conversations and images from last night flooded back to me like a movie.
“No... I can't do this! How did I do this?” I said, getting up from the bed and turning towards Tasha.
“Girl, what's going on? Wait a second. Don't you remember how you got here? Your ostrich carried you in his arms and left you here last night. And he asked me to stay with you. Both of you were completely drenched in the rain,” She said, reminding me once again of what happened yesterday, and it all came flooding back to me.
"Okay, did he say anything to you? I mean, did he tell you anything about what happened between us?" I said, sitting on the bed next to Tasha.
"What happened? What do you mean by that? Tell me, what happened?" Tasha replied, and I took a long, deep breath. This meant that the ostrich hadn't told Tasha anything.
"Siya, where are you lost? Tell me what you were supposed to tell him if he didn't tell me. then you tell me," she said, and upon hearing this, my eyes widened in fear. Now what do I do? How do I tell her that I did something yesterday that I never even imagined doing?
“Ahhh… nothing, it's just……”
"Siya, tell me, or I'll go to his apartment to ask him myself," she warned me.
“It's not what you think Tasha,” my voice barely above a whisper.
"I'm not thinking about anything, just tell me what happened yesterday," she said hurriedly, her tone edged with impatience.
"I kissed him," I said, closing my eyes.
"It's not a big deal," she said casually, shrugging her shoulders.
“Tasha…..”
"What? It's just a kiss, not sex. Where are you going to get pregnant with his child. So just calm yourself and come, let's get some sleep," she said, patting the bed to indicate that I should join her for sleep.
“Tasha, I know that. But…..”
"Siya, no buts and no what ifs, okay? Now, come," she said, lying down on her side of the bed.
