(Friday, recess)

Daeun's pov

"Are you seriously not going to the game later?"
Sujae asked, whining.

"I am. I managed to reschedule with my mom. But it's a secret!! Don't tell anyone"
I whispered.

"What really?? What's your plan then?"
She leaned in, eager to listen.

"I'll probably come in mid game to surprise him. Maybe say hi while on break"
I shrugged while smiling.

"I wonder how Niki's going to react"
Sujae giggled just at the thought of it.

"It's nothing much. He'll probably be annoyed at me"
I assumed.

"Come on, he clearly likes you. Ugh I can just imagine him giving you his jersey"
She cupped her cheeks.

I faked a retching noise, but Sujae just rolled her eyes.

But she caught on fast, I didn't even tell her Niki confessed.

Timeskip
(After school)

I said bye to Niki and pretended to leave school, but went back to the classroom to wait for the game to start while I left the lights off.

Suddenly, I heard some murmuring coming from outside the classroom. I quickly his under the teacher's desk, pulling the chair in so I'm more hidden.

I put my hand over my mouth when I heard someone, or maybe two people come in. They locked the door too.

"Are you sure this is okay?"
A girl asked.

Is that..Yena?!

"Yeah"
A guy replied.

I couldn't really tell who it was because he was rather soft. I felt something set above the teacher's desk. They're really close now.

"There's still time before the game. Come here"
The guy said.

Moments later, the soft smacking of lips were heard. My eyes widened and I held in my breath, so scared to create a sound.

Who the hell would be making out with Yena right now? Wasn't she all over Jake?

I glanced at my watch and they still haven't let go of each other after five minutes. Something sparked my hope when I heard them panting.

"You okay?"
The guy asked.

"Yeah"
Yena giggled and I think she got down from the desk.

"Let's go now"
The guy said faintly.

I sighed and was getting ready to crawl out from under this desk.

"Wait, whose bag is that?"
Yena asked.

My mouth fell open, hating myself for leaving it there.

"No idea. I need to get to the game or the members will get mad"
The guy replied and they finally left.

I got out and fell into my seat. I couldn't believe what I heard for that entire five minutes. I feel bad for my poor ears. I was still wondering who Yena would be with.

The guy was particularly softer than she was, I actually couldn't tell who it was.

Whatever it is, I'm confronting her in front of Jake.

Everyone was already ready and our coach was just giving us the last few words of encouragement before the whistle was blown.
