It was October 15th Kaitlyn and Jacob were still flirting as usual,but Kaitlyn was still hoping he would ask her out. They were at lunch and Kaitlyn was sitting with her friends and just took a bite of her chicken sandwich and Jacob came up to her and he actually did it. Jacob nervously said "hey so uhm kaitlyn do you wanna go out?" kaitlyn with her mouth full smiled and nodded so he wouldn't know she had her mouth full. Kaitlyn was beyond happy as she was walking to her next class Jacob asked "hey kaitlyn can i have your number? and she gladly gave it to him. She told her friends about it and they were all excited for them. kaitlyn thought " i can't believe it finally happened."
Kaitlyn went home and told her mom who was supportive her dad of course was overprotective. Jacob called Kaitlyn and they talked and talked for almost two hours just getting to know eachother. then Jacob told Kaitlyn that he wasn't sure if he was even going to ask out Kaitlyn because he wasn't sure if she liked him. Then he told her that her friend Kayla told Jacob that Kaitlyn liked him and that he should ask her out" kaitlyn wasn't even mad at Kayla she was happy she did it.
After dating about a month Jacob said "since we live pretty close we should hang out together" Kaitlyn wasn't sure how her dad would react since shes never had a serious boyfriend,but she really wanted to go so she asked her mom. Her mom said he could come over but they'd have to be chaperoned. Kaitlyn wasn't sure how that would go she thought "I hope my mom doesn't make this awkward"
