It was the last day of school in june and Jacob had been acting weird lately,kaitlyn knew the worst was coming. Kaitlyn knew he walked her to the bus every day and so she went a different way so he wouldnt find her. He ended up waiting by the exit and walked her anyways. about halfway kaitlyns flip flop broke she couldn't help but think "wow this sucks i know what's about to happen and there's nothing i can do to prevent it and my shoe just broke my life's falling apart"
He stopped before she got on the bus like always to say goodbye but instead he did it right there he said "we need to break up" her eyes already started tearing up but she couldn't do that in front of him. She saw his lips moving explaining why but she couldn't listen her mind was racing. At the worst time possible this boy Raul came up to them and said "Jacob you gonna kiss her it's the last day you have to." Kaitlyn almost crying said "well he just broke up with me" and got on the bus. she saw Raul talking to jacob and raul got on the bus and tried to explain why but again she wasn't listening she didn't wanna believe it.
As soon as she got home she threw away everything he ever gave her. She was heart broken.
