Jacob's mom Casey talked to kaitlyn's mom christy and then she left. Kailtyn and Jacob awkwardly walked inside and Christy told them to sit down and she took pictures of them which again was awkward for a first date. Kaitlyn was embarrassed and kept thinking "well at least it can't get any worse." Then of course Christy made it worse by saying "okay kids i picked up toy story 3 for you to watch" and put in the dvd player then she said "ill come in and check on ya'll randomly". Kaitlyn turned to Jacob and apologized for how awkward her mom made it. Jacob just laughed and said "it's okay i'm just glad i got to see you." Kaitlyn blushed and then he went home.
Jacob and Kaitlyn had gotten very close over the months. Kaitlyn had learned numerous things about Jacob. Jacob told Kaitlyn that his parents were divorced since he was young and while his dad (ron) was single and his mom lived with her boyfriend which is where he lived at the moment. Jacob told her intimate things like how his moms boyfriend always yells at his mom and how he hates living there but his mom was already planning a baby with him so it was too late to say anything. Jacob had an older sister Marissa she was very reserved shy and into reading and running she stayed living with her dad so she could stay at her old school. Jacob told Kaitlyn that he moved around a lot too and that he was kinda poor since his mom was a single mom. Kaitlyn loved hearing about his life they were complete opposites but it helped them grow closer.
