Chapter Thirty

I knew Ashton was following me but I acted as if I had no idea he was there, I suddenly broke out into a full sprint ( I know im not athletic but I think I can run pretty fast). I herd the engine in car make a loud noise as the he sped up, suddenly I stopped having him go flying past me then he slammed on his brakes realizing that I stopped and he slowly backed up. Ashton pulled up beside me and rolled down his window and I glanced over at him,

"Oh hi there I didn't see you," I said sarcastically Ashton just gave me this "Are you kidding me" glance and said, "Hey baby why don't you get in the car and I will take you to school," I raised an eyebrow at him and he stuck his lower lip out saying "Their may or may not be candy in here," I squinted my eyes and said " Does their happen to be any starburst in there?" He gave me a smirk and said "Maybe you should come and see yourself" and winked at me. I rolled my eyes and walked to the passenger side door, I climbed into the car and we drove in silence the rodes were empty which was kinda weird but not abnormal, I stared off into space and was debating with my self if I should tell Ashton about what has been happening at school and why I have that bruise..well the real reason. I bit my tongue and broke the silence "A..Ashton," I squeaked Oh my gosh I stuttered in front of him, I felt my cheeks heat up from embarrassment. " I need to tell you something," I said taking a deep breath in, He furrowed his eyebrows and gave me a worried look. I can't tell him I can't, just do it Erica! no don't he will be mad at your for lying in the first place! Make something up quick! " I- u..uh wanted to say that their is this girl that may flirt with you so don't let her cause...your mine," I said the last part quickly and it made Ashton chuckle a little, "Don't worry, im all yours," He said with a heartwarming smile that made me smile too.

We arrived at school and Ashton got out of the car quickly then jogged over to my side and opened the door for me "Ma lady" He said like a gentleman, I stepped out of the car and we walked into the high school together his hand in mine to show who's he is. "Are you ready for your first day?" I asked "Sure am, and hopefully I will have my girl with me for most of it," He laughed. We walked through crowds of people staring at us, some girls looking jealous and swooning over him,and some guys just looking at us they may have been jealous who knows and who cares. Ashton and I walked past the place that I had most recently gotten beaten, I looked on the ground and shuddered a little. We made our way to the front office for Ashton so could get his schedule it turns out we have every class but three together, Ashton and I made our way to first period which was history. We entered the room and I headed for the back of the room knowing that Ashton was trailing behind me, I plopped down in a hard metal chair and set my stuff aside Ashton followed and sat behind me. I looked around the room to see some people staring at him and girls adjusting their hair to look nice and others whispering and then looking at me. The teacher walked in and almost immediately noticed him sitting in the back, "Well looks like we have a new student, why don't you come to the front of the class and introduce yourself to everyone." Ashton stood huffing a breath, I noticed and chuckled a little only for him to hear.He made it to the front of the room and began he looked around the room and said "Well im Will Feral and im from San Francisco, you stay classy" he said in an accent I covered my face because I was embarrassed for him", Nah just kidding im Ashton Hood and im from California," He said and whooped causing all the girls to laugh and me to roll my eyes at him being an idiot. " Youranidiot" I fake coughed causing his attention to go to me, he smiled and said " Well" In a fake hurt tone, some girls scoffed at me and the teacher just raised an eyebrow. He went and sat back down and our lesson began, I tried to focus but it was kinda hard because Ashton was playing with my hair. my lord that feels so good. Pretty soon class ended and me and him walked out together not holding hands or anything, I walked to my locker with him still trailing me until I reached my locker and turned to talk to him but he wasn't there. I furrowed my eyebrows and looked around the corner to see the school whore rubbing up on him and other girls trying to talk to him but it was obvious that he didn't want to talk to them, he made it to me and let out a huff of breath, he looked at me wide eyed, " they are like animals, they all want what they can't have." He said rubbing a hand down his body, I shook my head and laughed "You got that right, none of them can have you not even a little piece!" I said hugging him, he hugged me back tightly and we walked back into the crowd of people. All eyes were on us so I thought for a second before reaching around his neck and pulling him down to my level for him to kiss me, I herd so many girls gasp like their went there hopes and dreams. I pulled away from that rough kiss and yelled "Yeah he is mine so why don't all of you bitches back off!" I raised my eyebrows and people started to walk away in disappointment but im glad i proved my point. I turned to see Ashton with a big smile on his face, "What?" He stared at me some more "What?!?"..."Ash.." he cut me off by pulling me into a nice loving kiss that had me go week at the knees. He pulled away and had lust in his eyes, I loved it!
