— PETTY ARGUMENT.
LYDIA STORMED INSIDE THE TRIPLETS APARTMENT with a wide grin on her face and two gallons of sweet tea from canes "honeys im homeee~" she sang before closing the door behind her. Matt looked up from his phone and smiled immediately upon seeing her "hey its been awhile" he says while standing up from his spot on the couch, he goes up to her and engulfs the girl in a tight squeeze. "Aw hiii matty i missed you too" Lydia chuckled as she returned the hug.
Matt pulls away and takes the gallons of sweet tea from her "Here let me get these for you." Lydia muttered a 'thank you' before hugging Nick "heyy how was your thanksgiving?" Nick asked, Lydia shrugged "it was okay i really missed you guys though..Eli and Kat wont be home till after christmas so im all by my lonesome till then." Matts head perked up from the fridge "you can stay with us for awhile" He suggested and Nick grins "YES YOU CAN SLEEP IN MY ROOM!" he's gushing "Omg it would be like a sleepover that never ends!"
"i'll go get everything set up!" Nick excitedly clapped before rushing upstairs "well im gonna go see my mannnn now" Lydia smiled before turning to walk away "wa-wait uhm can you come to my room real quick i want to give you something" Matt said suddenly, Lydia formed a line with her lips but nodded and followed Matt to his bedroom. He rummages through his closet for awhile until he finally pulls out a box, more specifically a kuromi lego set. "It was the last one in target and i know you like these little critter things.." He blushed horribly. Lydia gasped "you bought this for meee?" she felt her heart swell up.
She quickly gave him a tight hug which he gladly returned "thank you so much, i appreciate it a lot! keep it here and we can build it together later okay?" Lydia looked up at Matt who'd been avoiding eye contact "yeah sure, go see Chris now im sure he's dying to see you" he mumbled whilst walking out of his room — still holding Lydia in his arms.
After Matt heads back to the living room the brown eyed girl barges into Chris's room — he sat at his desktop playing Fortnite "BABE HII" she squeals, Chris looks over at her and smiles "hey welcome home" is all he says. Lydia could feel her heart drop but nonetheless she goes over to him and kisses his cheek "Can you wait for me on the bed?" Chris shrugs her off, slyly wiping off her kisses. "oh sure" she quietly replied.
LATER THAT NIGHT CHRIS AND LYDIA LAID in bed together simply cuddling and talking about what they did over thanksgiving. Lydia went back to her hometown to see her parents, Chris didn't even feel like she'd been gone for that long. Lydia hugged him tightly, recently shes been overthinking like crazy. So she gave him a tight squeeze, afraid that if she let go, she may never be able to hold him again.
She leaned in for a kiss, but Chris only pecked her lips and continued scrolling through instagram. Anytime she'd sigh to get his attention he'd ignore her. She kissed his neck. nothing. So she began to shower his pretty face with kisses. "Lydia stop" he groaned and he actually shoved her away. Lydia sat up "why? why dont you wanna kiss me?" she asks her lower lips quavers like a small child. Chris sighed "you're being too fucking clingy bro"
"Well im- im sorry that i missed you?" She quickly replied trying her best to hold back her tears "you were gone for like what a week? we facetimed and texted almost every day" Chris argued "i was gone for three weeks." Lydia swallowed thickly as she looked over at Chris who had a nonchalant expression on his face. "Why..why are you being like this.." She couldn't fight it anymore..she began to cry.
"Being like what? why are you crying?" Chris seemed genuinely confused but he quickly became annoyed when she wouldn't stop sobbing. "why am i crying? Chris i was gone for basically an entire month. i missed you so much and you wont even kiss me you wont acknowledge me? did i do something wrong? please tell me what i did wrong and ill fix it" Shes shaking her head while crying, she bites her lower lip trying her best to contain her sobs.
"Not everything is about you Lydia! can you just give me some fucking space? you're being too clingy" Chris says in frustration but as soon as the words leave his mouth he instantly regrets it. Lydia stands up "im sorry i dont know what i did." she apologized and A loud sob escapes past her lips as she storms out of his room, she rushes downstairs ignoring the calls from Matt and Nick — leaving their apartment and forgetting about the sleepover.
MATT AND NICK WALK INTO CHRIS'S ROOM with confused looks on their faces. Chris bit his lower lip anxiously "aren't you going to follow her?" Matt questioned "for what?" Chris scoffed. "You need to tell her, you're treating her like shit and she doesn't deserve that" Matt added. "Tell her what huh?" Chris rose an eyebrow at him "Stop acting stupid you know what" Matt argued. Nick sighed "I agree with Matt, you need to let her go." "you guys dont know what you're talking about" Chris denied.
"You're a real fucking asshole" Matt spat before walking away. "Chris you know deep down what we mean, you need to accept it and face reality. you dont love her anymore" Nick formed a line with his lips before leaving his brother alone with his thoughts.
