An ODD Apocalypse - Roblox Rainbow Friends Au

• Chapter 1 •

- Red's POV -

At first it was just five of us. Three guys, two girls. No big deal, right? Just an avarage group of freaks, living their life. Oh, and did I mention the apocalipse outside the window?

You see, life has been tough for the last couple of years, ever since Black - a great tyrant - basically made himself the ruler of the world. Many, many brave ones tried to beat or kill him, yet the power held by 'The lord of darkness', as he calls himself, was too strong. He harnessed the darkest magic and ruled the world with no mercy.

Anybody who even tried saying something against him would be put into prison and would suffer terrible torture.

This is why me and the rest of the team - Blue, Green, Cyan and Pink - would live in a safety bunker, deep underground. We had everything we needed: food, a place to sleep and most importantly - safety.

We would ocassionaly leave the bunker every now and then, but most of the time, we would just sit underground, not doing much.

My personal job was studying sience. I sill believed, that maybe there is a chance to free the world from Black's tyrany. But it was just empty hopes, right?

At that moment I was sitting at my desk, reading yet another old book. It explained how the sources of magic were created and how to defeat each one. I was hoping to find something interesting, when I heard a knock on the door to my office:

Blue: Hey Red. Whatcha doing?

Red: Hi Blue. Not much. Just going through some old books, as per usual.

Blue walked up to my desk and took a peek at the book.

Blue: 'Magic sources'? You're still going on about that?

Red: I mean... There still might be a chance...

Blue: Come on Red, we've talked about this. You have to stop believing in fairytales. Black is invincible. Nobody can defeat him, especially you. Come now, dinner is ready.

Then he walked out of the room. I'm not gonna lie, his words were a tad bit hurtful, but he wasn't wrong. Thousands of people tried to defeat Black and every single one of them failed.

Blue had never believed in beating Black, while I had the faith in it. He was right though. I should stop living the dream of killing that psycopath. But then again, a little hope doesn't hurt...
