Camera You Held

The camera you held.
Many pictures, many friends, many memories.
It had always been in your hands.
You snapped a picture of the sky;
or was it a picture of me? I couldn't tell.

The camera I held.
Many pictures, many friends, many memories.
It had always been in my hands.
I snapped a picture of you;
you thought it was the sky.

I recalled
"Something important to me."
I uttered.

The camera you held.
Many pictures, many friends, many memories.
It had always been in your hands.
Now, it's stuck in a shelf in my room.
Dusted, waiting to be cleaned. Waiting to be used.

I recalled
"Something important to me."
You uttered.

The film was colourful.
The camera foresee.
I was faithful.
That you wouldn't leave me be.
