way Deep in the northern mountains where the ice and snow freezes everything over. high in the sky on the very top of the tallest mountain-there the clouds hid a white kingdom that reigned with the white beasts.where they flew in harmony with the northern lights every month only once. And the moon shined ever so big and brighter than ever. That was peace for these beasts. Especially for young princess Kaida and her family. She felt more alive than she ever did tonight Sitting on that balcony wall of her room with the white curtains beating against the snow behind her. Her beautiful white hair swaying with the cold winds, catching small snowflakes in her strands of hair. Her blue diamond eyes reflecting the snow falling and the dragons flying harmoniously in the night of the northern lights. She smiled brightly resting her chin on her knee. She hugged her knees gently. The gown she wore was a silk pearl, her mother made it for her when she was twelve. In two days, she will be thirteen. this was a big year for. but little did she know this year would change her life forever.
"Kaida honey! Come inside what are you doing out here?" Queen celaena called out to her youngest daughter. The queen was wearing a long sleeve black gown, her hair white as the snow. Her eyes were blue as well, like mother like daughter. Kaida jumped off the balcony landing on her bare pale feet, she ran up to her mom embracing her into a hug.
"O-oh? Honey, what's wrong?" Queen celaena whispered to her daughter, she placed her hands on kaidas back gently hugging her back.
"Mom look! It's the northern lights! Right before my birthday!" Kaida shouted happily as she jumped up and down happily with the biggest smile on her face. "Mom can I please fly with the rest of them too! Please! PLEAASE!" Kaida giggled beggingly to her mom.
Queen celaena chuckled and nervously looked from her excited daughter to the white dragons flying around the mountain tops they were flying in and out of the northern lights. "Hmm..only if I can come too." Her mother chuckled softly her smile made kaida smile even bigger. "But don't tell your dad he would kill us!" The two giggled softly as her mother placed her hand in Kaida's, leading her over to the edge of the balcony where she then looked down at her daughter after kicking her slippers off.
"You ready?"
"Always mother!"
With that the two climbed up onto the wall of the balcony helping each other up, and they both let go of each others hands. they descended into the darkness of the snow below. Few moments past and now they had shifted, her mother was a beautiful Snow White large dragon flapping her mighty wings into the snowy sky above. Following behind a smaller white dragon flew past her. Kaida. She roared bellowing in delight as she fought against the snow flying towards the northern lights with her mother where everyone from the castle were flying. Children were jumping off cliffs below shifting into beautiful small white beasts, laughter and roars could be heard as they smiled in delight, other kids were jumping up and down in joyous wonders. Kaida's yellow dragon eyes peered below watching as she glided overhead. She chirped down at them. as she blinked once something caught the corner of her eye as she looked up towards a bright light that's when she saw it, the moon was glowing brighter than normal. It gave off a bright blue white aura that circled around the moon a bit giving it a halo around the planet. Celaena flew up next to her child flapping her large mighty wings in place as she looked up where kaida was looking. Together the two admired the moon together.
