Apprehension fueled my body as I scanned the screen looking for Rigg and his men. Eric and John Kramer were gone. I couldn't worry about them when there were three still alive.

I told Eric that all he needed to do was play Jigsaw's game and we would find his son. I should've realized that he'd never change. He's still the same impulsive and reckless Detective Matthews.

"I still can't see you, Sergeant. I repeat, I cannot see you." I radioed Rigg. This didn't make any sense, I was looking at all the monitors, but I couldn't see anyone. We traced the feed to the right house, I know we did.

All of a sudden, the picture on the monitors stopped moving, and "PAUSED" appeared on the screen. My eyes widened as I scanned all of them frantically. "It's not live-"

"Kerry, we're in the wrong fucking house. They've been dead this whole time!" Rigg's voice yelled over the walkie talkie.

"Get your team out of there!" I immediately shouted back. I slammed the talkie down. If the feed isn't live, where the fuck is Daniel and Delilah? I watched as the timer counted down to zero, unsure what was going to happen.

It hit zero.

And I heard gears turning.

Pulling my gun from my belt, I walked over to the source of the noise. A safe. The door opened and inside it were Daniel and Delilah. Daniel's arm was wrapped around Delilah, her body resting on his chest. Two oxygen masks over their faces. He seemed half conscious, I heard him gasp and groan in fear. I involuntarily stepped back. A safe and secure place. Just like John Kramer said. Oh my god, what has Eric done?

"We need a medic!"
