TEDDY WILSON
Violet's 16-year old brother Teddy is good-looking and also kind of a ladies' man. When he takes notice of her attractive best friend Poppy, and puts the moves on her, Violet is quit to put a stop to it. But maybe Teddy isn't such a player after all? He proves his loyalty when their family life moves into troubled waters.

Violet's favorite childhood memories are cruising with the windows down, blasting nostalgic, old country songs like Dolly Parton's hits while riding in the car with her dad. Paul Wilson is an accountant and a self-described nerd who likes mowing the lawn, grilling and watching sports. He's not a perfect man, and he's made some big mistakes, but he loves his kids.
