"Master..." Laila said while knocking on Alfred's room door. "I need to speak with you."

"Come in!" Alfred yelled from behind the door. Laila quietly entered and closed the door behind her.

"It's about Mr. Kirkland..." She began but was cut off when Alfred tossed a book to her. "What's this?" she asked while catching it.

"After this talk can you take that back to our library."

"Yes sir," she gave a small bow. "As I was saying... Something is odd about him. I don't think he's some regular pirate. He knows more."

"More? Like?" Alfred asked raising a brow as his attention turned from the window he was looking out to her. Laila responded with a nod.

"What gives you that idea?" A voice asked from behind her. Laila quickly looked back and saw said pirate.

"Hello Arthur! Did you need something?" Alfred smiled and walked over to the door where the pirate stood. Laila turned to them, she gulped and looked down at the ground to avoid eye contact.

"I heard Mr. Kirkland. Were you two talking about me?" Arthur asked glaring at Laila. The servant quickly ran around him and out of the room to the library.

"Kind of, but you interrupted and she didn't say anymore," Alfred explained as he shrugged.

"Well she is not wrong but I am curious how she knew," Arthur said as he continue to glare at the running maid before looking up at Alfred. "Also I looked around the mansion. There are many ways someone can get in. I suggest guards at night."

"Alright, do what you think is best. I don't mind as long as Mattie and I are safe as well as the servants. They're like family to me," Alfred smiled.

"Family?" Arthur raised one bushy brow before sighing and shaking his head. "Very well. Don't forget those words Mr. Jones-"

"Just call me Alfred," the blue-eyed blonde said happily as he put his arm around the pirates shoulders. "Lets take a stroll outside. I've been in my room for too long."

"Get the blood hell off!" Arthur growled. "Also it's getting late. Can't you see the sun going down?"

"Exactly! We can watch the sunset together. Lets go!" Alfred dragged the Englishman out the room and to the huge garden out back.

Alfred and Arthur took a nice walk through the garden, gazing at the sunset every now and then. Both were unaware of the three pairs of eyes gazing at them from afar.

Arthur felt uneasy as they walked. He glanced around with his one visible one as Alfred rambled on about stories he had read. Something was off...

Suddenly a flaming bird flew over them. The Firebird flew down to them before flying back up into the air.

"RUN!" Arthur grabbed Alfred's arm and quickly dragged him to the mansion. At that moment, a large green, three headed dragon erupted from the trees.

"Woah! What's that?!" Alfred asked looking at the creature in amazement. "I thought dragons didn't exist!"

"Shut your mouth and keep running!" Arthur yelled at him and Alfred ran back. The dragon quickly chased after them but was suddenly attacked by the Firebird. It pecked at the dragon and clawed at its eyes.

"Alfred!" Kiku stood at the doors to the garden, slightly wide eyed at the creature before him. "..!"

"Kiku! Look! It's a dragon! Can you believe it?!" Alfred said excitedly as him as Arthur got to the doors.

"Stay inside and don't come out!" Arthur ordered.

"What?! That's unfair! What are you going to do let me go with you-" Alfred protested.

"No you bloody idiot! You hired us to protect you now stay put!" Arthur growled.

"Fine..." Alfred pouted as he crossed his arms over his chest.

With that, Arthur ran back to the dragon and stood several feet in front of it. He took out a book from his coat pocket and quickly flip through the pages before stopping. The Brit began to chant words when a magical circle appeared before him. The firebird continued attacking the dragon until one of the heads bit it and flung it to a nearby by tree. The other two heads turned to Arthur. By that time, he finished the spell and summoned a hell hound that he had a contract with.

The large black furred beast charged at the dragon and bit down on the necks of all three heads. The dragon let out a hoarsely roar as the dog clawed at its body. It continued to claw until one of the dragons heads blew fire into its face causing it to let go. The firebird soon returned and clawed at the head that blew the flames.

The dragon limped backwards and began to retreat from the garden. It soon disappeared within some trees leaving them. Arthur sighed before snapping his fingers, the hound soon disappearing.

"Now what the bloody hell are you doing here..?!" Arthur glared at the bird. It just blinked down at him before quickly flying off. "I knew she looked familiar-"

"THAT WAS AWESOME!" Alfred yelled as he ran over to Arthur, tackle hugging him. "You have to teach me how to do that!"

"What the-" Arthur was cut off by the tackle as he fell to the floor, Alfred on top of him.

"How did you do that Mr. Kirkland?" Kiku asked as he ran over as well.

"Magic! Now get the bloody hell off me!" Arthur yelled while shoving Alfred off him roughly.

"Magic?! Woah!" Alfred looked at him in amazement.

"Hurry back inside before it feels like coming back..." Arthur stood up and brushed himself off. Kiku then helped Alfred up. All three men then headed back into the mansion to discuss what the appearance of the dragon means and make changes to their plan.

Perhaps they're weren't just dealing with humans..? But who and what?
