Reapers pov

We all followed closely behind Alejandro, Ruby was trying to talk to Alejandro but all attempts of communication was shot down by Silence only the sounds of rocks and dirt under our boots to be heard.

Alejandro slowly stops his sprint moving in a more heavy footed walk as his eyes dart around the sky and ground, its more than obvious that something was on his mind but the man was too stubborn to  just speak his mind. Ruby glances back at us for a moment before looking back at his colonel and placing a gentle hand on his shoulder, matching the mans speed almost perfectly as the 3 of us hang just a foot away watching for shadows.

"Should we get Price to stay close to keep a birds eye view of the area for Graves?" Soap looks over at Ghost as he spook softly, or as softly as a Scottish man can in this situation.

"We should, the extra support would be useful in finding Graves and the rest of the Shadow company."  Ghost slowly leans into his radio, the tenson in the air was thick, like a heavy smoke that clouds your lungs depriving you of oxygen that lingers in the heavy air. i pay no mind to Ghosts commands to Price about air support as my movements came to a halt only 4 feet from Ruby and Alejandro.

"Alejandro what did you see?" Ruby turns Alejandro around to try and make the stubborn man speak and explain his actions but still Alejandro only grunts and moves away from Ruby. Soap turns to me than to Ghost, the man clearly had something on his mind that he wanted to say but by the change in expression he had gone through i can tell that idea was shut down fast by whatever Ghost had done behind me.

I look around the now semi- ruined base that once belonged to Ruby and Alejandro seeing the damage and the fallen bodies of both the shadows and of Alejandro's force lying on the ground in pools of blood. The sight was one ive seen many times but it felt different this time i didnt know these people but it felt like i did. i felt a disgust for what the Shadows have done and what everything had lead to, all the dead bodies the family's that couldn't say goodbye it made me sick.

i was deep in thought when something caught my eye. within a blink of an eye something was shot into the sky aimed for Price in the helicopter, the two objects collided with a loud bang mine and Ghosts radios screamed and came to life with Prices voice roaring through to our ears.

"man down man down! we're going down!"  the helicopter span, the rappelers were engulfed in red flames that lights up the ground around. Soap ran in a panic followed by Ruby and Alejandro to a wall just ahead of us, Ghost soon runs just a bit behind the 3 men so i follow suit.

Ruby was helping Soap the wall when me and Ghost made over to them, Soap helped Ruby up the wall and turned to Ghost with his hand extended for the large man to take but he shacks his head and looks over to our left than back to Soap and meeting his confused gaze.

"Im going to help Price with Alejandro, you focus on Graves and that tank-" 

i wasnt paying attention so i missed the tank and Graves so Ghosts comment made me snap my head up to Soap and Ruby who now had a hand extended to me, Ghost had ran to the left in the direction of the dark smoke and bright flames. "Reaper take my hand ill pull you up" Rubys voice was loud but i wasnt going to help with whatever plan they had for dealing with the tank i had to help save price.

i take a step to my left shacking my head and waving them off to deal with the tank and Graves so i turn and ran. i followed the heavy black smoke that filled the air above me, the smoke was heavy and thick leaving a rotting smell in my nose that lingered in my throat when i made it to the burning helicopter with Ghost trying to rip apart to get at the men inside.

i swallowed hard before stepping forward to Ghost and started to kick at the weaker parts of the helicopter throwing dirt and burning pieces of metal into the air before i took some steps back and let Ghost rip away at the door. The door was torn open and fire flew out at Ghost as he shields his face from its heat.

"Bloody hell-" Price quickly rolled out of the helicopter coughing pretty bad by my feet, i kneel down and start opening his gear to make it easier for him to breath.

Price soon calms down and i pull him away from the helicopter by his vest as Ghost reaches in to grab one of Alejandro's men when i smelt something disgusting. "Bloody hell..."  Ghost gets back onto his feet and steps back revealing what the smell was coming from. burning flesh... it was strong making my stomach turn, i stared into the burning soldiers bleeding eyes.

Ghosts pov 

The smell was strong and made me uneasy as i stepped back covering my mouth, i turn to Price and kneel down to check him for injury's patting him down and trying to ignore the display of gore behind me, i let out a sigh and help Price to his feet.

"you okay captain?"

"im fine, lost a good cigar in the fire though"

"leave it to you to worry about a cigar more than your own life captain"

"yeah- holy shit Reaper wake up"  

i look over at price than turn around to look at Reaper who was just staring at the helicopter burning in front of us, i tilt my head as i move closer to her and place a hand on her shoulder giving her a gentle shack before looking at Price and back to her, her eyes looked bigger and smaller at the same time. i turn around and look at he burning helicopter to try and see what she was looking at when it hit me like a truck, she was staring at the burning soldier who's eyes stared back at her.

 Price gently puts his hand on her shoulder and turn her to him looking into her eyes past her mask as i take some steps back to give the pear some space. I stood 3 feet away from them as Price tries to get Reaper to get her head back into the game. "Reaper what's wrong?" Price had asked this 3 times now giving her a light shack.

I take a few steps forward when the radio comes alive with Soaps voice "Graves is K.I.A hows the captian?" i turn away from Price and Reaper puting a hand too the radio and tilting into it. "Captians fine mostly upset about losing one of his good cigar in the flames" i turn back over to Price and Reaper who are now seat on the ground with price asking questions but getting no answer.

I let out a sigh and take some slow steps over to the pare and tilt my head down to them. "she okay captain?" i asked quietly as i take a deep look up and down from her trying to understand her state of mind.

"she is fine just maybe a little shocken up from the flames. lets just get everyone out of here and regroup"

Price helpped her up and she dusted off before walking with him leaving me a few feet behind as i followed suit.

Sorry this took so long to get out but i had alot on my plate and did what i could when i could thank you for waiting so nicely i really appreciate it
