Johnny (possible serial killer), 5:06am; Leland, are you awake?

The vibration from the phone shakes itself on the pillow, sliding down until it hits the corner of Leland's face - and he awakes from the deep slumber that he was in. He didn't even realise that last night he fell asleep with his phone on the bed, and he let a groggy yawn out as he squinted his eyes open. Light rain was tapping at the windows - and the storm clouds didn't help with darkening the sky - so Leland was confused for a brief second at what the actual time was. He can still feel how tired he was, like the sleep he got last night just wasn't enough; and he partially blames that on all the worry he had from not hearing back from Johnny.

When he's able to blink a couple more times so he can see properly, and his eyes adjust to the name on the phone - he all but shoots up in the bed. It's like the tiredness just washed away the instant he realised it was Johnny who texted him - and he only lets out a tiny yawn as he types a message back.

Leland, 5:10am; I just woke up from your message, but I'm here.

He takes a moment to glance over at Danny's bed - and it seems somewhere between the time that Leland fell asleep - up until now, the man had come back. He needs to ask Danny the next time they're both awake, what this man actually gets up to - he's gone a lot of the time now, and Leland is getting a little bit curious.

Johnny (possible serial killer), 5:15am; Sorry.. Did you want to come over?

Leland raises an eyebrow at the message, a small wave of confusion running through his mind - before he brings one hand up to rub at his eye.

Leland, 5:17am; Like, now?

Johnny (possible serial killer), 5:20am; Yeah, if you want. I kind of want to see you.

How is it that Johnny could go a whole day without texting Leland, and making the poor man worry over it - to texting him like nothing had happened? At five in the morning? It causes Leland to raise an eyebrow at it, before he's shaking his head a one more yawn slips past his lips.

Leland, 5:23am; I can be there at 6.

He's not really surprised that he caved in as quickly as he did with Johnny, and he doesn't let himself think about how pathetic that must look as he finally gets himself out of bed. He can feel a kink in his neck from the angle he had slept on, and a small wave of discomfort falls through his body as he picks up his pants from the ground. He has to stretch his neck from side to side, trying his best to get it to go away - before tugging his jeans on from last night. Another yawn slips out of him as he locates one of his shirts on the study desk - and he tugs it on as he makes his way out of the dorm room.

Johnny (possible serial killer) 5:43am; Oh, in order to get to my dorm room - just head past the main office, turn left and it's the fourth door down the hallway. I just noticed you've actually not been here before.

That was completely true Leland thinks, every time they've had sex - it's been in Leland's dorm room; or in various other places. He never even thought about asking to do it at Johnny's, and the first time it was brought up was only the other day. He feels a small wave of excitement through his body, because now he gets to see what Johnny's room is like. He gets to see the things that Johnny sees before he sleeps, and Leland gets to see how Johnny actually lives. It makes him feel all giddy inside, and if he wasn't still as half tired as he feels - he'd probably fucking skip to Johnny's room. He doesn't even question why Johnny wanted to see him right now, when they were meant to meet up later tonight - but Leland isn't one to question a good thing.
