6. The Airport Crisis

K.C's POV

We got up early today and got ready. I was wearing high waisted american flag shorts (thought this would be appropriate) and im wearing a white tank with gray stars on it, for my shoes I just decided to wear my white converses, as for my hair I threw it in a messy bun I didnt want to do anything to fancy because we were going on a plane for 17 hours anyway. Once we were ready we got breakfast with Joe, Finn and Dean. "We all ready to go, our plaine leaves in 4 more hours and it takes us an hour to even get there" Joe said, "yea just let me go get my hairspray" Brad answerd and went upstairs. We all piled into the van, I ended up sitting in the middle of Brad and James again.

*An hour later*

Once we got on our plaine and we were safe from all of the fans we sat in our seats. The plaine was formated with only two seats in a row, so the seating arrangement was: Brad and I, James and Connor, Tris and Dean and finally Finn and Joe. "What do you want to do Kace" Brad questioned, "lets take a selfie for twitter before its to late" I said taking my phone out. The caption said: @K.C._amazing heading to america with my second fam @thevampsband I got a surprise for you guys once we get there. I turned to Brad and he picked up his phone, he posted a comment under my previous tweet: @thevampsbrad yep a big surprise with @K.C._amazing cant wait to see you guys there. As soon as I put my phone down I got a text from my mum she hasnt texted me in ages wonder whats up with her:

Mum: hey hows my baby girl doing
Me: doing fine im going to America for 2 months
Mum: wow for what
Me: going on tour with the boys im performing with them
Mum: have fun and good luck I knew you had talent from the minute you were born
Me: thanks
Mum: love you sweetie
Me: love you too

"Who was that" Brad asked, "mum she wanted to know how I was" I sighed, "did you tell her were going to America" Brad continued, "yea" I sighed again, "whats wrong" Brad questioned, "I just miss her like alot you wouldnt understand" I said looking out the window. "I understand Kace" Brad said bringing me into a hug. "I know you do Brad your always there for me when I need a shoulder" I said wispering into his ear. "Ill always be here" He said wispering back.

The plaine flight took what felt like forever but finally we landed in sunny California. Once we got off the plaine and into the airport there were tons of fans surrounding the area. The boys and I took pictures and did autographs but I guess one of the fans came up to close to me and caused my knee to buckle and causing me to fall to the ground. "BRAD HELP" I screamed in pain. "What happened" he said picking me up. "My knee buckled underneath me and I fell" I responded, "ok lets get you to the bus before anything else happens" he said getting the others.

"Thanks Brad" I said as he put me down on the sofa. "Are you ok" James questioned, "yea I think so but I dont think ill be able to do the dance tommorow night" I said holding my knee while Brad got some ice. "Thanks again Brad" I said taking the ice and placing it on my knee. "No problem but you just sit there until we get to the hotel" He said, "ok dad" I laughed, "hey im just trying to help" he said shrugging his shoulders. When Joe got on the bus he came over, "what happened" he worried, "one of the fans came to close to me and my knee buckled" I responded, "well ok you just rest so your knee can heal before the next gig" he said walking away. This is just great I was supposed to be dancing at tommorow's concert and I was stoked about it and now all I can do is sit in a stool and sing, but I guess thats better then nothing. Joe told us it would take 3 and a half hours to get to the hotel so I decided to sleep I fell asleep instantly. Once I woke up we stopped at a rest station and the boys were watching a movie "well sleeping beauty awakes" Connor joked, "how you feeling" James asked, "its still hurts" I said while holding the melted ice bag. "Ill go get more ice for you" Brad said leaving the room. "Here" Brad gave me a new bag of ice. "Thanks you know you really dont have to help me" I said, "yea I do your mum would want me to" Brad responded. Once we started to leave the rest station I said to the boys I wanted to finish watching the movie they said it was ok. Brad picked me up and brought me into the room where the movie was playing, he placed me right next to him (which is not weird at all). James pressed play and the movie was, well it wasnt really a movie it was funny clips of the boys dont get me wrong I enjoyed it alot. One clip was of Brad screaming like a girl because Tris scared him, it was so funny. "You scream like a girl Brad" I laughed, "Hey dont judge me he scared me" Brad said trying to fake cry.

During one of the clips my knee started to really hurt, and at this point it was all purple and swollen. "Hey guys I think I really should go see a doctor" I said looking at my knee. "You sure I dont think you need to Kace" Tris said taking a look at my knee like he was a doctor or something. "Can you feel what I can" I said crossing my arms. "Point taken" Tris responded, "ill go talk to Joe and ask him if we can stop" James said as he left the room. "You ok Kace" Brad questioned, "I mean James went to ask Joe if we can stop and see a doctor" I answerd, "did you tell your mum yet" Brad asked, "no not yet but dont tell her" I said, "ok you need anything" Brad asked, "no not at the moment but thanks for taking care of me" I said hugging him. "No problem" Brad said wispering in my ear.
