12. Oh Brother

K.C. POV

When we returned back to the hotel Joe suggested we go to dinner and we all agreed. "Ok we'll meet back here at 7:30" Joe said looking at his watch. I headed to the elevator with Brad straggling behind me. "Looks like a girl on crutches can beat you" I laughed, "Hey im really tired you werent the one running around the stage" Brad whined catching up to me. "I would be if it werent for these crutches" I said still laughing. The first thing I did when Brad and I got back up to the room was (oh yea btw it is about 2 hours before we go to dinner) call my dad.

"Hey dad..."hey pumpkin"..."anything new"..."well they are tracking the guy now he was just located in Birmingham they have the whole police squad down there"..."thats a good thing, how's the boys doing"..."well Karson doesnt really understand but the others are still heartbroken"..."put Kody on the phone"..."hey K.C. I miss you"..."I miss you too ill see you soon once I get right back from America"..."um can Keegan talk to you"..."yea sure"..."hey Kace whats up"..."well I tore my A.C.L."...(just so you guys know Keegan is 16 so he knows exactly what I tore) "wow nice going you on crutches"..."yea but dont tell dad yet I want to tell him"..."well thats kind of a problem now because the phone is on speaker so he heard you already"..."dang it"..."I still miss you well we all do"..."I miss you guys too and Brad says hey"..."you two dating"..."what nooo"... (well thats a lie but I didnt want anyone to know) "ok chill out"..."well you dont need to get into my brain"..."dad wants to talk to you"..."hey dad look I have to go the boys and I are going to dinner soon and I still need to manage what im going to wear"..."ok love you"..."love you too".

Once I hung up the phone Brad was looking at me like what were you talking about. "Brothers" I said like he knew exactly what I was talking about. "You gonna get in the shower beacause I want to take a bath" he asked, "yea just let me grab my clothes" I said approaching the closet. I chose a high waisted teal skater skirt and a white lace top I didnt bother with my shoes yet. I got into the shower and did my normal hair routine and then my body routine. Once I got out of the shower and got my clothes on I went to the desk mirror so Brad could take a bath. I grabbed my makeup bag and started my normal make up routine which consists of concealor, eyeliner (very small amount), mascara, neutral eyeshadow, bronzer and a neutral pink lipstick. I blow dried my hair and then staightened it. I picked the shoes I wanted to wear which were my white strappy wedges again I know risky but I wore them before. I sat on the bed and thought of the memories I had with my mum.

Brad finally came out of the bathroom and it was 6:30 so both of decided to watch a movie. Brad grabbed a pillow for my knee to rest on he also grabbed a blanket as he came back I was looking through the movies that we brought for the ride on the bus. "So are options are, "The Maze Runner", "The Hunger Games", and "Fast 'n' Furious" so which one" I asked, "um lets watch "The Maze Runner" ive seen the others" he responded, "ok well put the disc in the dvd player" I said handing him the disc. I snuggled right next to Brad and played the movie. My eyes started to get heavy but I didnt want to fall asleep. When the movie ended it was ten minutes before we had to leave so I touched up my makeup and my hair. Brad got a text from Joe saying that they were ready to go. Brad locked the hotel room door and headed to the elevator. Once everyone was ready to go we headed to the bus I sat next to Brad and James.

*Back at the hotel*

"That was good food" Brad said resting on the bed. "Yea it was too bad they dont have it back at home" I responded as I took off my makeup. I changed into my pj's and threw my hair into a messy bun. I placed myself right next to Brad and he pulled me closer to him. "You did great today" he said kissing my forehead. "Thanks for everything Brad you know you really didnt have to" I said, "but you needed it" he said as I rested my head on his chest. "I love you" I said closing my eyes. "I love you too" that was the last thing that I heard before going into a deep slumber.
