13. A Day Off

K.C.'s POV

I woke up around 10:30 and went on my phone I scrolled through a ton of twitter posts of 'are prayers are with you' which I thought was very kind of them. I wanted to get up but there was two things stopping me one was Brad had a really tight grip on me and my knee was bothering me. Ten minutes later Brad finally had the courage to get up. "Joe told the boys and I that we have a day off so you want to go on that date today" he asked, "Brad I dont want to go today beacause I want to go shopping I want to get somethings for the boys back home" I moaned, "ok we'll go shopping whatever makes you happy" he groaned back.

We arrived at the shopping centre 15 minutes later and we first wanted something to eat so the closest thing to eating was Starbucks. I orderd a banana latte and a fresh chocolate chip cookie and Brad got his usual a iced latte and a crossant. We didnt want to sit down at a table so we took are stuff to go, when we finally got out of the cafè we headed to the main shops. I looked through the window of a mini toy store thinking I could find something for the two youngest which were Karson and Kaden. "Lets go in here for a minute" I said motioning myself to the entrance. We looked around for a good 5 minutes until I found the perfect thing for Kaden which was a mechanical helicopter he loved those things he owns like 7 of them and the price was reasonable 45 American dollars which is £40. "Ok one down one to go" I said continuing to look for something that I knew Karson would like. Another 5 minutes flew by and thats when I found exactly what he wanted, a ton of toy bugs, dont ask I have know idea why but he he's been asking for them the bugs were very cheap 3 Amercan dollars which equals to £2. "You ready" I asked, "yea" he said as we walked over to the checkout counter. I paid for the items and walked out of the store.

"We need something for Kody and Kameron" I said facing my head to Brad. "Ok" he responded. We strolled down the walkway and stopped right in front of "Apple" I knew for a fact that Kody and Kameron needed phone cases so I got them both life proof cases as I knew they loved the dirt and the pool so I did them good, I only spent £70 which is 75 American dollars.

"Last 2 people dad and Keegan" I said to Brad. I know what I wanted to get Keegan he said he needed a new skateboard and thats what I was getting him. I had Brad pick out the skateboard. "Here" he said handing me a plain black skateboard. "Do you think we could ask if we can get his name engraved into it" I asked, "I think we can" he responded looking for an employee to ask the questioned I asked.

We finally got done with our shopping trip and I ended up getting my dad a watch. We headed back to the hotel room and decided that the rest of the day was gonna be chill. "Thanks for coming with me" I said to Brad as I sat on the sofa with my knee on the coffee table. "No problem it was my pleasure" he responded getting him and I a drink. He came back and sat next to me. "Were back on the road tommorow we are going up to Santa Monica to perform in Disney" he said turning the t.v. on. "Oh I love Disney ive been once when I was little and mum was pregant with Keegan too bad I cant dance" I said as my excitement slide right off my face once I said that. "Hey dont be sad you'll be able to when we go to Universal Studios in Florida" He said embracing me in a hug. "Really" my excitement came back. "Yea but dont tell anyone that I told you" he laughed, "ok" I wispered.
