29 (Cousin)

Ara's POV.

I walked to the car with Drake. After seeing Raven and him outside the shop fighting I just couldn't believe it. How am I suppose to react? Will I be angry? Guilty? Or sad? I don't know and it's driving me insane.

Even if Drake is angry he still opened the car door for me. I got in and then he got in the drivers seat.

He was about to turn the car until I grabbed his hand.

"Bear." I said.

He looked at me without smiling. I got his face and turned it around for him to face me.

"I love you." I said to him with a smile. His face lightened up as I said that. He smiled slightly.

"I love you too. So much that I would do anything!" he answered back.

I smiled and hugged him tight. I love him so much.

I didn't want to ask him on what happened with him and Raven. I didn't want his mood to go badder today. I'll just ask another day. He drove off and we were headed to my house. I held his hand while he drove, to lighten his mood more.

He had his eyes on the road and he wasn't speaking to me. I want to know what happened.

We finally got my house. I only brought a few things and not the rest because of Raven and Drake.

He walked me up to the door.

He looked down.

I got his face to face me. "Whatever has happened between you and Raven, just always remember where my heart is. And that is with you. You have it. Past is past and it what matters now is the present and the future. And I see you in my future. I love you." I said to him.

He smiled and he leaned over to kiss my lips. I felt his lips on mine. He let go.

"I love you Ara!" He said.

I smiled and went inside. I watched him drive off until I went inside.

I went into the lounge room to drop my stuff. When I suddenly saw a girl, with long dark hair with a bow. She was looking at our family pictures on the wall.

"Excuse me?" I said softly.

She turned around and smiled. Oh my god! Oh my gosh! SOPHIE!

"Oh my gosh!!" I screamed while running to her and giving her a hug. I can't believe she's here!

"Hi Babe! I missed youuuuu!" She said. We call each other babe! Haha!

She's my cousin. My favourite cousin. Her mum is my dad's sister. We were the ones playing around when we were kids. She is older by two years, but age wasn't a big deal. I call her Sophie but her real name is Sophia. She lives in London.

I can't believe she's here. I haven't see her in a while.

"I missed you." I said to her.

"I missed you too!" She said while hugging me.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"Well. Just a vacation and I wanted to surprise you. I heard from your mom that you have a boyfriend na. I want to meet him." She said while sitting down.

"Oh Drake. You'll love him. He's the sweetest man alive." I said.

"I can tell by your smile. I wish I can have that too. Hahaha!" She joked.

"Trust me, with your gorgeous face of yours, you will! Wait didn't you have a boyfriend?" I asked.

She looked down. "Oh Ara, we really need to catch up. We are over like last month ago. So I'm single and ready to mingle." She said happily.

"I'm happy for you babe." I said.

I was about to get up to get something to eat, but she held me back.

"ArAr, you saw Raven again?" she asked me.

I looked down.

"What did he say?" she asked.

"Well, he said he still loves me. I don't love him anymore but when he said that, the hurt went back. I remember how he left me with saying anything. He put my hopes up. Am I suppose to feel sad?" I said to Sophie.

"Well, the question is, do you still love him?" she asked.

I looked at her.

"NO! Sophia! I love Drake. He makes me happy and I love him." I said to her straight up.

"Well, then you have nothing to worry about." she said.

I smiled slightly, but what about Drake and Raven? They were fighting.

I didn't tell Sophia because I know she is tired from her flight and I didn't want her first day here in the Philippines with my problems.

Sophia went to sleep and I stayed awake, just on my computer on facebook.

*BZZ.*

I checked my phone and Drake texted me.

From Bear <3:

Babe. You still awake? Why?

I texted him back.

To Bear <3:

I can't sleep you? Oh, I want you to meet somebody tomorrow. Want to got out tomorrow. I'll bring her.

From Bear <3:

Yeah, I'll pick you up. I love you. Sleep na okay?

To Bear <3:

I will babe. I love you too. I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight!!

From Bear <3:

Goodnight babe. 😘

I smiled and didn't text him back. I lay down on my bed and tried to go to sleep. Eventually I did.

*The next morning*

I am getting ready and Sophia is in the other room getting ready. I suddenly got a text.

From: Private Number

We are going to get what is ours from the start. We are making plans. Plans that you will find out soon.

I read the text over several times. What does this mean? Sophia suddenly came to my room. I quickly turned off my phone because I didn't want her to be worried about me?

"Are you alright?" She asked me.

I nodded. "Yeah why?"

"Well you seem worried. Well anyways someone is at the door." She smiled at the same time.

I smiled slightly. I ran to the door to see Drake there. I hugged him and he hugged my back. I feel so secure with him. So safe!

"Hi babe! You ready?" He asked.

I nodded and kissed him on the cheek.
