24 (Sick.)

Ara's POV

It's been a week since we got back from Boracay. I wouldn't forget about that trip. It was truly the best trip ever. I still haven't seen Drake's painting. We will be passing our paintings today in Art Class. I am now getting ready for school.

I got out of the bathroom when I suddenly felt dizzy. My world is spinning around. I sat down on my bed and closed my eyes for a little while.

"Ara?" my mum suddenly came into my room. I looked at her.

"Are you okay?" she asked while putting her hand on my forehead.

I nodded. I lied. I was feeling really tipsy.

"You have a fever. Lie down now." my mum said. Here she goes again. I hate her worrying about me whenever I am sick.

"I'm okay now mum." I lied.

"ARA!" she said laudly.

I looked at her and just followed her and lied back. I am so dizzy. I texted Sarah.

To Sarah: Hi. I'm sick today. :( Can you just tell the teacher that I will submit my painting when I come back.

From Sarah: Sure babe! :) Get well soon :(

She is such a sweet friend. I didn't text Drake because I knew that he will worry. I just closed my eyes and tried to sleep.

Drake's POV

I have been texting Ara and she hasn't been replying. I decided to text Sarah to see if she knows. To Sarah: Hi, has Ara texting you? She is not replying.

I waited for the text. I am now on my way to school. As usual I am stuck in traffic. I suddenly got a text. I quickly got my phone and checked it.

From Sarah: Hi Drake :) She is sick. She just texted me.

Sick????! Ohno, why didn't she tell me. I quickly made a turn to go back to on my way to Ara's house. Why didn't she tell me that she is sick? She needs me right now.

I drove very quickly and got out of traffic. I finally got to her house. I got out and knocked on the door.

Ara's Mums, Tita Min answered it. "Drake"?

"Hello po, I heard Ara was sick. Can I be here for her?" I asked.

She smiled and nodded. "Go upstairs." she said. I smiled and went to her room. I found her asleep when I got in. I went to her and felt her forehead. She was really hot. I went to the bathroom and got a facetowel from her drawer. I soaked it in warm water and squeezed it. I placed it on her forehead. I kissed her too on her forehead.

I smiled, she is so beautiful even if she is sick. I went downstairs again and went to the kitchen. Tita Min was there cooking, soup for Ara.

"Tita do you need help?" I asked.

She turned around and smiled. "No need, but you can bring this to her." while passing the tray to me. I took it and smiled. I walked to Ara's room.

"Drake."

I stopped and turned around.

"Thank you." she said. I smiled and continued to walk to her room.

When I got there, I put the food down on her study table. She was still asleep. I felt her forehead and she was getting warmer. I looked at her and smiled.

She suddenly moved. She opened her eyes.

"Drake?!" o_0 she said while getting up quickly.

"Lay back down. Your still sick." I said while putting her back down.

"What are you doing here?" she asked.

"Why didn't you tell me you were sick?" I answered back.

She looked away. "Because I know you will overreact." she said.

I hugged her from the side and kissed her head. "I just don't want the person I love sick. You know that."

She looked at me and smiled slightly.

I got the food and brought it to her. "Eat na Ara." I said while giving the food.

"I don't want to eat. I'm not hungry." she said.

"Bad girl. Okay then, so many people are hungry in many places and you don't want to eat it. If only I can give it to the people that is hungry." I said.

"Okay THEN." she whined. I fed her. I got the spoon and gave it to her. She ate it and smiled. She finished her food and she drank her medicine.

I fixed the pillow and she layed back. I also layed back too. I was just next to her.

"I've got something to show you." I said.

I got my painting from my bag. She looked at it. It is a painting of Ara and I walking along the beach and another part was us too on a jetski. I painted OUR Boracay trip.

She looked at me and smiled. "Wow." she said.

I hugged her and kissed her cheek. "I love you." I whispered.

She layed back and closed her eyes, I was there lieing beside her. She fell asleep and I was on my phone. I took a picture of her asleep and posted it on facebook.

Drake Delos Reyes: She's sick :( Get well soon. Always here for you Arabella King.

I looked at her and fixed her hair. She is the girl I want to spend my forever with. I love her so much. I held her hand and I slept. (Check Multimeda)

Ara's POV

I woke up and Drake was beside me sleeping. He had my hand. I didn't let go. I got the painting to me. He is so sweet. I really do want to be with him. I just don't know how to answer him. I want him to be with me forever.

I am feeling a lot more better now. I owe a lot to him. I got my phone and opened my facebook. I saw the photo that Drake posted. Why does he always take pictures of me sleeping?

He makes me smile. I didn't wake him up.

I let go of his hand and went to the bathroom. I took a shower and got dressed. I got out and Drake was already awake. He was on his phone.

"Hi." I said while smiling.

"Hello beautiful." he said.

"You sound like James Reid on My App Boyfie." I said while laughing..

I went to him. "Go home na." I said.

"Don't you want me here?" he said.

"No. It's getting late. I am all fine now." I said.

He looked outside on my window and it was getting dark as well.

"Okay. Dad might be looking for me. I'll see you soon okay?" he said.

I nodded and smiled. "Text me when you get home okay?"

He nodded and smiled. He kissed my cheek. I waved goodbye to him and he went out of the door. I looked outside my wndow, and waited for him to go and see his car drive away.

He waved goodbye. I smiled.
