The day had started out pretty normal, well as normal as it can get with my life, I had been lucky enough to find a inn the night before, the bed has been uncomfortable to say the least but is was better than the ground, not that I wasn't used to the ground the ground after all was where I often found myself sleeping, I had just ordered food when I saw a group of men in the far corner amongst themselves, "I can't belive what happened in Sothessa," one muttered.

"What happened?" I asked.

One of the men turned to look at me, "You didn't hear, eh girl? It's all people have been talking about, the king of Sothessa's own summoners rebeled aganst him, they killed him and his heirs."

"Serves him right," another guy said. "Sothessa has always flaunted they summoner army around, Oh we're the most powerfull with our speciely trained summoners.

"Anyways the kings adviser now sits on the throne," someone else added.

"Summoners huh?" I wispered deep in thought and memories of the past, I almost told them that Sothessa didn't have the stongest summoners, but that probobly would've ended in fight and I always tried to avoid fights now.

"Yeah, but now they might come for us, I heard one of the villages by the border also got chared, only a matter of time before they try to get us."

I sliped away as they kept talking, closing the door of the inn behind me as I pulled out a map, the map was magic and I had found it many years ago, any attack in the world would be shown on it, the map was writen in Nothossian-my first language. The map showed a village in the southern part of Ulvorta the village had smoke rising from it, the cloud of smoke seemed to be twice the size of the village. I glanced around, I had nothing to do so I might as well go check it out. I was currently in the northern part of Ulvorta so at the pace I was going I should reach the village around dawn.

I walked for hours untill I heard the sound of someone crying, I knew better than too call out to who ever was crying, that would probably scare them and make them run away, I instead quietly steped forward, the leaved crunched the slightest bit under my feet. The crying abruptly stopped. "Wh-who's th-the-there?" A voice called out.

I had been expecting someone maybe around 20ish or maybe even someone 15 like me but the boy that sat infront of me was either 8 or 9 years old, he had thin dirty blonde hair shaved close to his head, he had blue eyes like me except they were a light sky blue and curently rimeed with red from crying, where as mine where a dark stormy greyish-blue colour, he had light brown freckles that spread across his cheeks and nose.

"Call me Aria," I told him, he shuffled back when he saw me letting out a small wimper. "Can you tell me your name and why your out here?"

"A-Archie, my names Archie," he said. They-they hurt mom and dad-they used air it riped roofs off a-and everyone was on the floor-." he looked up at me sudenly, "The-th-they're all dead aren't they?"

I wanted to tell this boy his parents were alright, to shield him from the world, but I know he would find out sooner or later , it was no use not use trying to shield him from the ugly truth-that his parents where gone and he'd never see them again. "I'm sorry but if summoners attacked them they're dead," I told him.

Tears slid down his cheeks and I glanced around, unsure if what to do, I didn't know how to comfort kids and when I was as young as him I never had somone to comfort me, not that I ever acted like a kid, the world forced me to grow up much to fast, so I was totally clueless on what to do, so I did the only thing I could think of, I knelt down beside him and hugged him,  Archie buried his head into my shoulder till he stoped crying.

After a few minutes he pulled back, "P-please don't leave," he wispered hoarsely.

I pulled back shocked, "Of-of couse, but I move around a bunch, are you sure you want to come? I could drop you off at the nearest village?"

"No, no, no, I want to stay with you Aira."

We walked farther, I made sure to pause ever now and then so Archie could take a rest but it seemed like he never got tired so we continued till the sun disappeared and the moon came out.

"They have someone with them, we can ask her what happened." I pulled Archie with me behind a bush as two people walked by, in the faint moonlight I could tell they were probably Sothessan with they're tan skin and dark brown hair.

"I'll go take down those summoners, you go free that girl." One of them said.

"Alright," the other replied.

I watched as they killed the summoners before waking over to a girl, the girl had medium length dark curly  brownish-black hair and olive skin, leaves and dirt clung to her, scratches seemed to cover every bit of showing skin.

Archie looked up at me "What do we do?" he asked,

"Lets just stay here for now," I answered

The people talked in hushed voices, one said "I know and all the summoners are going to die because of what they are doing, first Sothessa and now Ulvorta, it's settled we have to go to Nethoss."

Memories came rushing back when a heard that name, I couldn't let them go there, they had told the girl that their names were Lester and Brianna, those where the names of the heirs of Sothessa, this just got a whole lot more interesting I thought, nothing really shocked me anymore. "Archie stay here," I told him.

He whimpered "Come back."

"Don't worry, i'm just checking it out," I said.

Stepping forward I said "Trust me, you don't want to go to Nethoss."

"Who are you?" The girl, Brianna demanded her glare fiercer then anyone I had ever met.

I smiled at them, "You can call me Aira."

"What are you doing here?" She asked harshly.

"I could ask the same if you." I answered, but Brianna didn't stop glaring, I sighed. "I used to live by the border of Ulvortia and Nethoss, I heard what happened so I decided to go check it out, i'm asuming your the heirs to Sothessa, I heard you where dead but I guess you shouldn't always trust what you hear."

"We're supposed to be dead?" The guy I thought was Lester said.

"Of course Jayden would want people to think we're dead," Brianna wispered.

"Jayden? Is that the guy that is taking over Sothessa as we speak?" I asked.

Brianna opend her mouth but Lester started talking instead asking, "How do we know we can trust you? How do we know there's no one lying in wait to kill us and bring us back to Jayden?"

"I don't need your trust, I was just trying to warn you not to go to Sothessa," I said at the same time that Archie jumped out of the bush and said.

"You can trust Aira, she helped me,"

"Who are you?"

"Archie, Who are you?"

"I'm Amilia, and what do you mean she helped you?"

Amilia had that type of voice that made you instently trust her and want to tell her all your secrets, she had that expression too.

"Nevermind all that, I want to help you," I said.
