Chapter 13 : lasting memories

You woke up today quite early since you were pretty excited for today's event.
It was finally today that the new B-Komachi were going to perform at the JIF and you were excited.

You ate a big breakfast this morning to not get hungry during the rest of the day at the JIF.
Went to clean yourself and dress yourself up, you made a bit more effort since today was special for Ruby and she liked seeing you all cute.

Just when you were about to head out, you heard the doorbell ring. You walked towards the door and looked into the peep hole only to see a very familiar blond.

You were very confused but still opened the door.

"What are you doing here Aquafaba* ?"

"That's how you greet everyone ?"

"Nope, only you. You have this special place in my frozen heart."

"I'm leaving."

"Hey ! You can't just come here and leave immediately !"

"Doing it right now."

"Wait I'm coming !"

You grabbed your purse, closed your door and locked it before running towards Aqua.

"How can you walk at such a faste pace..."

You gasped for air.

"How can you run so slowly ?"

"Don't change the subject !"

You both walked to a near by train leading to a station right next to the where the Japan idol expo was happening. You were both sat down on the seats at the back.

"Did you see the anime awards this year ? How did My boy Reigen lose to Gojo for best supporting character of the year !? I can't take life anymore..."

"Stop weeping over fictional men."

"But...they are just so perfect..."

"I sometimes wonder how we are still friends..."

Aqua sighed. You turned toward Aqua and touched his cheeks, Aqua was stunned by your action until you started pinching his cheeks with a mischievous smile.

"Because I know you're a masochist who loves me no matter what I do to you."

"Let go before I tell the everyone that time when you called me black."

"WE WERE PLAYING CHEST AND YOU HAD THE BLACK PAWNS !"

You continued on rambling and rambling until your initial question popped back in your head.

"Aqua, I just realized...why did you come get me when you could have just went with the other B-Komachi by car."

Aqua stayed looked out the window for a bit before looking at you straight in the eyes.

"I just wanted to make sure you get there safely."

"Are you insinuating that I can't go to the expo by myself ?"

Before Aqua could get another word in the conversation you put one finger on his lips.

"But since I am feeling in a good mood I won't argue with you and only thank you for your worries. But next time give me a call. Imagine if I wasn't ready, I wouldn't want you to see me when I'm not cute."

You chuckled happily. It just made you so happy when anybody outside of your parents showed care towards you.

Aqua held your wrist as he moved your finger off his lips. He still looks cold and serious like every other day.
