We arrive at the forest, it look more dark and gloomy then when we were at Barnies. We get off the bike, I hand Jacob his helmet and slowly approached the forest. The sun slowly sets behind me as I walk into the forest, I hear a noise not far away from where I'm standing, I quickly run to where the noise is coming from, I come to a cliff, and almost fall, but Jacob grabs my the back of my shirt and pulls me close. And says
"What's wrong?"
"I herd a strange noise and..."
"What you herd was probity Sam, he jumps off here a lot"
I look down the edge of the cliff it looks about 300 meters down until water.
"He must be pretty insane to jump off this"
I walk closer to the cliff and Jacob says
"Let's go then"
"What???!!"
"I know you want to"
I look down the edge of the cliff and work up the courage to say
"Only if you jump off with me"
Jacob had a surprised lock on his face as if he were expecting me to chicken out.
I held his hand and toke a deep breath.
And jumped off, in to the freezing cold water. I struggle to get above the water, I start taking big gulps off water, then I feel I warm body holding me up. It was Jacob, he lifted me out of the water and placed me on dry land. I start to cough a spit out water, when I open my eyes I see Jacob leaning over me. I blush and say
"Thank you for saving me, now get off me!"
Jacob waited awhile then got off me quickly.
"We better go, it's getting dark"
Said Jacob worryingly, as he helped me up.
"What are you scared of the dark?"
I joked.
"I'm not scared of the dark just, never mind"
We looked around and started the long walk to get out of the forest. Then just as we left, we herd a noise from the river I rushed over to the water, and I looked for the source of the noise. I saw a body under the water, I called Jacob over to have a look. He put his hand in the water and grabbed the body out, shacked it and said
"Sam will you please leave us alone"
Then Sam stopped pretending to be dead and said
"I'm sorry for crashing your date, but all I heard was, ooh lea's so fun, I have never met a girl like her before"
"Shut up Sam"
Said Jacob with gritted teeth and he put him down and told him
"Go home now!"
So Sam turned his back and left. I looked at Jacob and said.
"So you think I'm fun ha?"
I joked
"Maybe..."
"Soo you told your friends we where hanging out tonight"
"Ya I'm sorry but..
I interrupted him by saying
"It's fine I'm sure you have your reasoions"
He smiled
"What school will you be going to?"
"Quinn Field High"
" Cool I go to Quinn Field High, so when are you starting"
"Next month"
"Not far away then ha"
"Yea"
We find our way back to Jacobs motorbike. when we notice that their is a strange man standing next to the bike. the man says
"Oh Jacob, who is this friend of yours?"
"Leave her out of this James!"
Said Jacob standing in front of me. The man runs he's nails across the edge of the bike. I cover my ears from the loud noise, and because being an Animagus I can still hear, smell like a wolf while in human form, which made things even worse. The man stops and looks a me, tilts his head from one side to another, he approaches us slowly, then he stops midway, as if someone is calling him,he gives us one last look and then leaves.
"Who was he Jacob?"
"No one you should be around"
"Jacob who was he?"
"A bad person,very bad"
we run up to where the bike is.
"How bad is it?"
I say worryingly
"Not that bad, I'm glad he did nothing else though"
"To me or the bike?"
"Both"
He said sadly. He puts on a smile and says.
"Nothing I can't fix, come on I'm taking you home"
I jump on the bike, put my helmet on, and held Jacobs waist, and then we drove off down the rode to my house.
I got off and said
"Thank you for the... I mean thank you for hanging out with me tonight"
"That's ok"
I walk inside but just before shutting the door I waved goodbye.
