I run after Orin, and speed in front of him. I arrive at the Dark Forest, and wait near a tree, near the outside of the forest. I see Orin in the distance, and I catch my breath. He arrives and stands next to me.
"Why so slow?"
I say in a imitating tone.
"I wasn't slow."
"Yes, I think you were."
"No, you see, I arrived on time."
"It was a race. An I won."
"Did you?"
I then playfully and softly punch him in the arm.
"How did you know to stop it?"
"What?"
Orin looked confused. Then he realised what I was talking about.
"Now, to the next part."
He said cheerfully. It seemed like he didn't want to talk about it. At least not now. He started to walk into the forest.
"Orin I need to know."
He stopped.
"Not now you don't."
He continued walking.
"What if I lose my self control?! I don't want to hurt the ones closet to me!"
"You won't!"
"How do you know?"
He ran up to me, until there was only inches between us. I took a deep breath. He almost reached his arm out to touch me, but then turned away.
"Lets go!"
He says running into the forest. I ran right after him, then tapped him on the shoulder. He stopped.
"Orin, please."
"Hey, you want to know how to fight?"
He said eagerly and purposely avoiding the subject.
"Orin."
"Ok, I'll tell you. You just got to keep clam and picture something you like. If all else fails. Run."
He sounded very serious.
"Thank You for telling me."
I said shyly.
"That's ok."
"Listen can I ask you something personal?"
"What's the something?"
He said in a suspicious tone.
"Are you 'like' me?"Orin took a deep breath and said.
"Listen I was like you. I though I was an animagious too. But I was wrong."
I look down at the ground, knowing that this was hard for him to discuss.
"You know the rest of the story, Lea."
I made eye contact with him and said.
"No I don't."
But inside I knew how he must of felt.
"Back to the lesson."
Orin said, he then pointed up to the cliff.
"First one to jump off the cliff wins."
"Are all these 'lessons' going to be races?"
He shrugged.
"Maybe. I don't know."
He then raced up the hill. I rolled my eyes, and ran after him.We arrive at the cliff.
"Now jump!"
"What?"
"Jump!"
Orin jumps off the cliff and lands safely into the water. I was just about to go in after him, when. I started to get flash backs, from last time I was here. Sadness and anger rushes over me. Then I remember when I was first here, with Jacob.
"Are you coming down!!"
Yells Orin from down below. I walked over the the edge. And just as I was about to jump. I stop, there was to many memories I had of Jacob here. I backed away from the cliff and started to go down.I go down to where the water is, and start skidding rocks. Orin was sitting on the ground mumbling something's to himself while drawing on the ground. Then Orin jumped up and said.
"I got it!"
"What?"
"The answer."
"What answer?"
"The answer!"
"What answer!"
I was getting really annoyed with him at this point. So I dropped my rock I was holding. And walked over to the drawing he did. It was all just a bunch of lines and circles.
"I don't get it?"
"You know what I was missing?"
Says Orin looking down at the drawing.
"No. Umm a pencil and paper."
"No."
He starts so laughs and then he begins to cough. He the looks at me in the eyes.
"You."
"Aww Orin. You don't have to say that."
"Oh."
He almost looked very unsure what to say. Then we here a twig snap just behind us. We both stand up, Orin walks forward to check it out. But I signal him to stay. I walk forward to see who/what it was.I walk softly through some tall trees. To a clearing, the same clearing I showed Jacob who I was. In the centre I saw Jacob standing there. I quickly hid behind a tree. Then Jacob turned his head to where I was hiding. He then, Sniffed the air and said.
"Lea. I know your there."
He sounded very taunting. I took a deep breath and slowly approached him.
"So, how, have you been."
You could hear a slight quiver in my voice.
"Oh, I've moved on."
I stopped in my tack only meters from him. His voice sounded very sure and strong.
"Have you?"
I was very surprised to hear that Jacob already moved on.The almost out of nowhere, with no warning. Lucy swooped in and landed right next to Jacob.
"Jacob! Watch out!"
I yelled at him. But he just stood there.
I was very confused at what was going on.
"Aww, look baby. she still hasn't figured it out yet."
Said Lucy to Jacob.
"Wait baby? No, you to are not. Oh no."
One of the worst things happened. Jacob and Lucy got back together!
"Aww look she got it."
Said Lucy
"What happened to James?"
"Oh, he died."
Said Lucy in a quick and sure response
"What!"
"Yeah, food poisoning."
I was highly suspicious of Lucy's 'food poisoning' excuse.
Just at the worst moment Orin turns up.
"Hey Lea, I was wondering...."
He trailed off realising what he just walked into.
"I see you moved on too."
Mocked Jacob.
"Jacob."
Said Orin
"Orin."
"Orin don't."
I whisper to him under my breath.
"I told you Lea, The fights not over!"
