Third-person pov:

Hoyt arrived back on the streets to the sound of gunfire. That kind of startled Hoyt and he was immediately brought back to this senses. Without hesitation, he ran over to investigate the noise. It was coming from two blocks away. So, the run wasn't that long. Whatever the sound was, it sounded like anarchy was breaking out on the streets.

After a minute or two of running, he turned out of an alleyway and looked towards where the gunfire was coming from.

There were a couple of police officers hiding behind their cars, trying to avoid the gunfire. And on the rooftops, there was a woman with blond hair in a ponytail, wearing a skull mask, having a black military tact suit with a trench coat, and she was wielding two pink clone uzis. She looked familiar, but she was wearing a mask and most of her skin was covered up, so Hoyt couldn't make up who it really was.

Hoyt was sure he'd seen that woman somewhere...

That was when Hoyt decided to call mark. He had to be informed about this. Hoyt put on his ear piece and started to talk. "Mark. I found the woman you told me about. Looks like she's causing havoc in the middle of the streets. She's killing officers." Hoyt said.

"Ugh. This is no good! We got to stop her, somehow." Mark replied.

"And how the hell am I supposed to do that?" Hoyt asked him.

"Well, you have firepower of your own, right? Use it!" Mark said, hanging up.

Hoyt put his ear piece off. "Thanks for the vote of confidence..." Hoyt remarked sarcastically.

But Hoyt didn't have time to stand around and do nothing. He had to act. He took cover behind a building and brought out his gun. Hoyt then heard a psychotic laughter coming from the woman. It was like she was enjoying the havoc she was causing.

Hoyt hid his head behind cover again. "Fucking psycho!" Hoyt whispered in annoyance. Hoyt had to think fast.

Hoyt saw a cop car with no one behind it and swiftly ran into cover. He had to get a good angle on the woman.

Hoyt peaked his head from behind the car and caught a glimpse of the woman. She was still shooting at everything down below while laughing like a madwoman. "Suck on this, you pigs!" She yelled.

Hoyt raised his gun, prepared to pop out.  "I gotta shoot." Hoyt mumbled to himself.

He stuck his upper body out, readied the gun and closed one eye, preparing to shoot. Before Hoyt could get the shoot in, the woman turned her head and caught sight of him. Hoyt's eyes widened as the woman pointed her two uzis at him.

"Shit!" Hoyt yelled, ducking back into cover.

Bullets started to fly everywhere as Hoyt kept his head down. The woman laughed manically. After a few seconds, Hoyt took that moment to stick his head up and fire back at the woman shooting at him. He shot two rounds, one actually hit the woman in the forearm. The woman grunted in pain.

"Son of a bitch!" The woman yelled in pain, reloading her uzis.

She jumped back and Hoyt got out of cover. He ran towards the injured officers to see if they were okay. He crouched down to an injured officer, who was holding his gun wound.

"Hold on tight now! I'm gonna get you some help!" Hoyt yelled.

The officer groaned in pain. "There's... no time... You gotta stop her..." The officer said.

Hoyt looked up and saw the woman dashing out of an alleyway, pointing her uzis at them. Hoyt looked up and pulled the injured officer back into cover before she could shoot. Bullets started flying everywhere and Hoyt gritted his teeth in annoyance. He was starting to have enough of this. That was when Hoyt snapped. Hearing that woman's annoying laughter only made Hoyt infuriated.

"Motherfucker..." Hoyt muttered quietly popping his head out.

In a swift motion, Hoyt aimed his gun, then proceeded to ferociously fire rounds at the woman. A few missed, but then Hoyt was interrupted by a bullet flying into his right bicep. Hoyt yelled in pain and immediately ducted back into cover.

He held his arm as the woman laughed. "Not so tough, are ya!" She yelled.

Hoyt looked over then reloaded his glock. He had to end this one way or another. In a split reaction, Hoyt stood up from cover and fired a shot. The bullet hit the woman in the leg, making her fall to the ground.

The woman screamed in pain and pointed her uzi at Hoyt. Thankfully, Hoyt ducked back into cover before she could fire. The woman took that opportunity to attempt to escape the area. She didn't get very far though. Not even a block.

She had ran out of ammo at this point. She couldn't fight back. The woman fell down on the sidewalk and Hoyt walked towards her. He looked down at her and shot her a look of scorn and disgust. The woman looked up at him.

"You caught me..." The woman said with a deadpan expression, putting her face to the ground.

(Time-Skip)

Hoyt brought the woman to the police and Hoyt ripped off the mask from her face. To his surprise, it was the woman who stole his cash at the supermarket.

"What the fuck? You?" Hoyt said with a brow raised.

The woman spat at the ground and looked up at him. "Yeah. It's me, you dipshit. I gotta say, I'm surprised you even caught me. Especially with that blindside of yours-" She was then cut off by Hoyt punching her across the face, knocking her out. Hoyt tied her hands and left her in a spot for the police to take her into custody.

Hoyt fled from the area and called Mark shortly after. "Mark. I just caught the woman you informed me about. Who is she?" Hoyt questioned, wanting to know more about her.

"Ah, yes! You just caught the great Maria Sara. She's a bounty hunter for the Regime. Almost like Penny. That's if you exclude the whole, "Crime boss" persona. Says here that she's an adopted orphan who was taken in by the Regime. Trained to be a killing machine. Ain't that something, eh?" Mark replied.

"Geez. I almost feel bad about hitting her after hearing that." Hoyt said.

"Don't be. She's killed countless of innocent people and countless police officers trying to find Patel. She's like every other crook the Regime has brought up. Don't feel pity for any of them." Mark said.

"Hmph. I guess you're right. Any leads on Casswell?" Hoyt asked.

"No. But I did hear he was planning to hit the Royal Bank on Q Street. I suggest you take a look for yourself before trusting my word on it." Mark replied.

"Rodger that." Hoyt said before turning off his ear piece.

After that hearing that, Hoyt marched off in determination.  One down, two to go. He had to find Casswell and bring him to justice, no matter what.

Even if it meant dying first.
