Xie Lian was sitting at the public library, going through some books but his focus was surely not there but rather on his two bodyguards that was standing rigidly by his side, Luca was scanning the library while San Lang, who had become Xie Lian's crush was starting at the entrance while not forgetting to stare at Xie Lian time to time.
Xie Lian was growing tired with two of them fanning their breath on his neck and the weird stares he got from other people present there so unable to control it any longer, "Luca, San Lang can you stop being on the edge?"
"Then can gege instruct what we should do?", San Lang asked with his silly smile.
"Can you sit down here?", Xie Lian asked while looking at them.
Hua Cheng nodded and pulled the seat that was on Xie Lian's Right side and turned it to the opposite side and sat down, facing the door and Lucan sat on Xie Lian's left side normally and scanned the library.
"So gege, tell me what you are studying?", Hua Cheng said as he looked at Xie Lian. Xie Lian smiled and started to speak about what he was studying.
Surprisingly Xie Lian had finished studying so soon than he thought. He had finished explaining a large portion of his lessons to San Lang in just two hours. San Lang didn't stop him in the middle but only paused in between to ask some questions and he had also taught him a maths equation that was his nightmare.
"Thank you so much, San Lang, even though my parents don't pay you to listen to me rambling you still did, and thanks for teaching me that equation", Xie Lian said happily.
Hua Cheng smiled and said, "Anything that helps to erase Gege's burden of studies"
These days Xie Lian had grown fond of being around San Lang, developing an innocent crush on him. Almost every day they went to morning jogging together and spent a lot of time together. San Lang and Luca had taken shifts on protecting Xie Lian but sometimes they do it together just like the present time.
"San Lang, I have to go to a place tomorrow, will you accompany me there?", Xie Lian asked hopefully even after knowing that tomorrow is Luca's shift.
San Lang smiled and said, "I will be there with you, gege"
Xie Lian was sure that he felt butterflies in his stomach. He just smiled a bright smile. Before he met him, he never knew what it was like to be able to look at someone and smile for no reason. He was so sure to treasure his time with him as long as he could then hide away his sweet memories in his heart and bask in them from time to time.
"Gege, we should leave if you are done here", San Lang said out of the blue, his voice incredibly cold and had a murderous intent hidden within them as he scanned his surroundings with a small frown. He looked at Luca and slightly nodded before escorting Xie Lian into the car and driving away.
The drive was deathly silent and San Lang was driving while looking at the mirror from time to time. within ten minutes they arrived at his penthouse. Xie Lian went inside the house and couldn't help but feel something off but San Lang's warnings had made him sit obediently inside his room.
'Gege, Go to your room, don't open the door for outsiders no matter what, take care, just call me if something happens", he said before leaving in a hurry. Xie Lian closed the door but still couldn't help the ugly feeling that was creeping through his heart. He looked at his condo door before slowly walking towards the stairs. He stopped and glanced at the door but shook his head before climbing up the stairs and going inside his room.
He plopped himself on the luxurious bed before picking up his phone. He fished out his from his jeans pocket and opened WhatsApp, he opened the pinned profile of San Lang and stared at the profile picture, San Lang looked smoking hot in the picture, He wore a loose black tee and black denim that hugged his strong and slender legs and a red leather jacket with a pair of black combat boots. A black sun glass hid his eyes as he leaned on his black and red Yamaha R1M while looking ahead and the photo was captured from a side angle, defining his sharp features perfectly.
Xie Lian smiled at the photo and he didn't even care whether he appeared to be a creep. But all the butterflies in his stomach despatched when the young man's frowning face came into his mind. He felt worriers and concerns making their way to his heart, making it somersault. He opened the contact of San Lang before typing,
Xie Lian
Are you ok? Be careful in whatever you both are doing.
he sent the message before putting the phone down, knowing very well that he wouldn't get a reply anytime soon.
He sat down on the bed and leaned on the headboard and opened Netflix on his TV and picked up a random movie to watch, hoping that it would distract from whatever conflicting emotions of his.
He was halfway through the movie when suddenly his phone chimed, indicating that he had a new message, he picked up his phone and found that the messages were from San Lang. He paused the movie before reading the messages.
San Lang
I'm fine, gege, and what are you doing?
Xie Lian
I am doing Netflix, Have you finished what you were doing?
San Lang
Enjoy your time gege, yes, I've just finished my business.
Xie Lian
Oh, Ok
San Lang
Don't you want to know what I was doing?
Xie Lian
You would have told me if you want but you didn't so I don't want to pry
San Lang
I will tell you later, OK?
Xie Lian
Ok👍, you will meet me in the morning? or is it Luca who is accompanying me tomorrow?
San Lang
I will gege, I said that before

I thought you were joking
San Lang

PA! Xie Lian slammed his phone on the bed and plopped himself on the bed with a wide smile, his cheeks and ears were pink, and his heart racing. San Lang is sooooo sweet and he couldn't help but fall harder for the said man.
