Yuriel Rose
"You have got to be kidding me-uck!" My body feels like it's burning from the inside out, the bloody gash on my side is the only indication that I am still alive and feeling.
Had I not expected myself to be in this situation I would have already sent for help. But sadly, not everyday we get what we want. So now without my complete and utter consent I've been thrust into this unknown area of Japan with curiously bigger trees than a normal tree.
*Many weeks earlier*
"Miss Yuriel, the master wishes to see you." The soft voice of the lady calling outside the abode of Shinobu called out.
"Ah, It does look like our tea time is just about done" Shinobu, with her sickly sweet voice muttered, her smile drawn on her face, but never seems to reach her eyes.
"Unfortunately it does seem like our time to catch up is indeed short." Shinobu had just came back from a mission with a surprising amount of guests that right now, are staying at the butterfly estate
The three surprising guests came back with an amount of inner and external bruises. Even more, I heard they came back with a curious demon who wouldn't attack a human. Every interesting detail had been laid out to me while I was out without them.
I knew what happened to the meeting, how there were two siblings, one a demon. A yellow haired child and a weird boar one. Seriously, every time I'm away there's always interesting stuff that happens.
"Miss Yuriel." It called out again, with a huffed grunt I bid my farewell to the Insect Hashira and made my way to the Master. There really are two things that can happen when being called by the Master.
One, You are in deep grave trouble-don't know what I've done to deserve his wrath yet and I don't want to know. I've kept myself in line without stepping a boundary, some may say I've been tiptoeing around the area.-And two, a new grueling and death exciting mission.
I do have to hope it is the second one, I won't take my chances with the first option. I'd rather be killed, slain, and gutted by a demon before I face the master's wrath. What scares me is when I haven't seen a friendly face go angry, I wouldn't know how to react.
"Master, I've come." Bowing down to my knees to greet respect, I looked up to the Person surrounded by two girls. One with black hair, another with white.
"Ah, Yuriel. How was your vacation. Have you been well?"
"Yes, it is good to be back."
"That sounds swell, I have a Mission that only you can take." The Master replied, I could feel weight on my chest burdened.
I've just come back from my week off and I'm back to missions all too quickly, well honestly I wouldn't be surprised. News said that there were many demon activities nowadays so then I suppose it couldn't be helped.
"Of course, I can take it. Where is the demon's location?"
"It is located in your village."
A heavy silence squeezed into the shore of the room, It's thick enough to be cut by a Sharp knife.
I knew I couldn't run from my hometown for that long, eventually I'll have to visit my birthplace but it doesn't negate the fact that I don't want to. But then I couldn't get everything I want in this life anyway so why fight what's inevitable.
