Erwin Smith

It's been weeks since the Titan incident, weeks since the loss of my arm, and weeks since we learned that Titans can be possibly human

A knock on the door roped me out of my inner thoughts, thinking that it's probably who I know it is, I let her in.

Silver hair glinted in the sunlight that streams into my window as she walked in gracefully, closing the door behind her and standing right in front of my table

"You called, Commander?" She said, a hint of softness in her voice. By the past couple of weeks, I've come to know who she is though not entirely what she is

Her choice of clothing still stands out, out of everyone here inside the wall. As if she's an outsider everyone doesn't know but acknowledges that she is, based on her clothing.

The clothing hides many scars on her arms which I've come to know when she showed me the bitten arm that added to her body of collection

She's started to be comfortable around me the past few days, we walked, talked and shared thoughts and possible strategies for future battles

Although she lacks knowledge in the area of Titans she makes up for being strategic in finding loopholes in plans that can be conducted in the future. Possible roads that could lead us to victory

In the past couple of weeks, she and I have practically spent more time together than normal with Hange and Levi. I'm not sure why but there's the distinct feeling of wanting to keep her close

I've come to learn she has terrible dark humor that only comes out in horrible situations, I can still remember the last and first time she commented on my lost arm

My eyes stray from hers and find themselves where her sword sits comfortably next to her waist. She cocks her hip to the side and her hands go to her curves

"How's your arm?" I asked, she looked at me suspiciously before shrugging in reply, finding a chair to sit on

"It's been better, can't say the same for you." I can already see the arm comment a mile away, we both got injured arms the time of the Titan attack but In different circumstances

"Sorry."

"It's fine, I'm used to it." I replied waving my only hand in the air, honestly I am. Her being beside me gives me a Terrible calmness where I can feel myself taking a quiet vacation despite not.

"So those are Titans, they are something." She's attempting to fill the room with things other than silence, honestly I find it cute, She no longer sits in silence waiting for one of us to talk.

"What are the usual fights you used to do?" I asked, couldn't help but feel very curious about the enemies she calls demons

"Oh you know, almost the same human eating people. Less huge, more intelligent, fast, and weapon bearing people." Nonchalantly she shrugs, it sounds like these enemies are more than what Titans are

"Sadly, I couldn't see you in action the time you held your sword" I commented remembering the time where Connie and the others talk about how amazing Yuriel is with the sword

She's able to keep up with the speed of the Titans though they could tell that she was holding back—their words not mine—they said that she managed to cut off all their heads instead of the part of the neck

"Shame indeed." Agreeing, she nodded in reply.

Silence fills us once again, she no longer tries to fill it. I've come to know a lot of Yuriel Rose but not enough to know her weakness, that's why she usually is stationed around captain's
