Yuriel Rose

It's been a week, not much has happened. My routine contains mundane things i've never ever done before back in my home.

From waking up from a full sleep, breakfast of a very sad plate that I'm not used to, and watching those ODM gear work.

I'd even got into a scuffle with the strongest humanities soldier about it. I haven't been requested to display my capabilities like they've said the past few days. Probably because of something that happened concerning a battle inside the walls

They said it caused a lot of damage inside the walls, just to get one girl that happened to crystallize herself.

The dedication to protect herself and her knowledge is respectable.

On the other note, the past few days I feel like being watched like a hawk. There's always an official captain next to me like some kind of bodyguard

I know they are wary of me and the officers don't bother me, but sometimes I want to sit alone and drink some tea and the officers just ruin that for me

I'm not complaining though, I'm in no shape to complain. As of right now, I take what I can get. And that includes this little silence I've stolen myself by sneaking away from the Captain that pretends she wants to know me personally, Kaisha.

"Yuriel, we have to go back, something happened." A new Captain called out, his rude tone of voice quite literally shows me how fond he is of me.

"Where's Kaisha?"

"She left for Captain Levi."

Walking back with one of the Section Commander to the headquarters was nothing but uncomfortable silence, if it was Erwin I wouldn't have a problem with it for some reason.

"Yuriel, your back!" Connie jumped up from his seat, greeting me with a smile. Sasha ran up to hug me while the others nodded in acknowledgement.

"What happened?" I asked, all of them looked glum, maybe even anxious.

"There's Titans inside the walls."

I feel a skitter up my back, this isn't something that should happen judging by their faces. This isn't supposed to happen, shouldn't have happened

"Then why aren't you all in uniform?"

"We're ordered to be on standby for a few days, it's weird considering that even the rest of the survey corp soldiers aren't" Reiner the man I've been recently introduced to answered for the rest of them.

The revelation that there were Titans in sight coming straight towards us is something after all, it's inside the walls. There might possibly be a gap Titans can get into

Everyone is rushing to get their own horse, I for one is just as confused as to what to do. I wouldn't know if I should come with them or not.

Should probably do the right thing and come with them.

"Hey Connie, is there an extra horse?"

"You're coming too?"

"Is there a problem about it?"

"No, no. Not really. There's an extra horse right there on the stables, saddle up quick." He talked while making sure everything in his horse is ready

I nodded and quickly went to mine. Once everything was settled, we headed out. I couldn't hear the sayings of the captain up front

I was too focused on the moving shadows walking towards us, I held the reigns of my horse tightly

They're so ugly..
