"Good, they're still downstairs" I exhaled though not all at ease. The door is blocked with a wooden plank though I doubt it would hold against a huge man eating human

Reiner walked with me towards the door, lifting the wooden plank we opened the door leading down stairs and we came face to face with a creepy smiling titan that looked like it hit a jackpot

Do all Titans smile like that?

In Panic, Reiner slammed the door closed, I put the plank back into place as Reiner held the door with his body. Horrible choice of action but In the midst of it, impulse takes control

"Guys, the Titan's here." I called out, as I did a huge unwanted hand burst through the door. Right next to my head, the hand waved in the air looking of a head to crunch. The hand went straight for Reiners head but luckily he ducked down to avoid that

On instinct, my hand went toward my side, unsheathing the sword and cutting the unwanted hand with ease as if cutting a soft freshly frozen butter.

Bertholdt appeared with a rake on hand making sure to stab it's eyes, blinding the Titans from attempting to kill our heads off again.

Putting the sword back into its scabbard, Reiner looked at me with a certain emotion I can't discern. Before I can put a name on it, Ymir and the others appeared with an old cannon ball mechanic

The Titan, unable to continue on with his trek due to his blindness, the group above rolled the cannon ball down the stairs that blasted the Titan back taking the now broken wooden door with it.

Smoke bellowed across the room, covering my mouth with my hands to avoid inhaling any dust we looked at a now unmoving Titan laying in the wreck.

"Now all that we have is this knife." Connie said, "should I try cutting off its nape?"

"Don't try, you'll get hurt if it grabs you." I remarked, looking at the unmoving Titan. The girl with the blonde hair that's holding the torch told us that we should get back up for the time being

All of us agreed, as I looked at my Haori for any damages and the sword that sits perfectly safe at my side. I heard a screeching voice yelling Connie's name

Unsurprisingly, another Titan reached the peak of where we are and is starting to reach where Connie is. In a flash, I don't know what my body decided to do but in an instant I find myself shielding Connie from the Titan.

It's head was right where Connie stood and I used both my hands to push Connie back roughly taking his place as well as pushing the Titans head to the side.

To my very much dead luck in battle, the Titan reared its head and bit my arm that used to push its head. It broke my skin and I couldn't help but let out a shriek, I feel the saliva run down my arm and I could help but shiver in disgust

"Yuriel!" Christa screamed stepping towards me but was hindered by a protective Ymir. Connie sat on the floor of the stairs, looking horrified

"This is not something I'm used to." I gritted taking my sword once again, taking the Titans life by facing the blade of the sword upward and slicing it toward the ceiling

The head fell off and the lifeless body dropped before me, I jammed my sword into its jaw releasing me from its mouth. Steam comes from the place I've cut, the Titans blood that marked my skin vanished to my surprise

"Are you okay?!" Christa exclaimed rushing towards me, checking my arm. The blood that oozes from the wound made its way down the floor

"I think I'm fine, there aren't any viruses i should be worried about right?" I questioned half jokingly with a nervous laugh
