The now giant Gengar stared down at Goodra. Ash then said, "Use G-Max Terror." Gengar's aura flared and six giant pieces of furniture appeared and levitated around it. He then tossed the furniture towards Goodra.
Diantha countered, "Use, Fire Blast!" Goodra shot the massive fire attack towards the furniture, destroying some, but one piece got through and slammed into Goodra knocking it back. Luckily, Goodra dug its feet into the ground to stop itself from falling to far back, "Quick, Goodra, use Surf!" The dragon slug Pokemon summoned a massive tidal wave, which it road on top of, and slammed the water into Gengar's face. Gengar grunted in pain, "Follow up with Hydro Pump!" Still, in mid-air from jumping off the Surf, Goodra fired a massive blast of water right into Gengar's face.
Ash began to grunt and took out Gengar's Pokeball, but seeing the determined look on Gengar's face as it took the attack made him question, "Gengar?" Once the attack was done, fire appeared in Gengar's eyes, "Okay, you got it." He put the Pokeball away.
Diantha pointed out, "Choosing not to switch because Gengar wants to keep going. That's classic you Ash."
From the stands, Sam commented, as she ate some popcorn, "She's right. Ash would never do something his Pokemon was not okay with. He really cares about his Pokemon's feelings."
Luna then said, "That's a great thing about him, but I hope it doesn't cause him trouble here."
Lucy stated, with her usual monotone voice, "Don't worry. Gengar is a ghost. He can handle anything."
Diantha shouted, "Finish it with another Surf!"
Once again Goodra summoned a wave of water that it road right towards Gengar. However, Gengar used its giant tongue to knock Goodra into the air and dissipate the Surf. Both he and Ash cheered at this, "Gengar! Yeah, we're going to win this! Let's do it! Use Max Starfall!"
Diantha quickly ordered, "Use Hydro Pump!" Still in mid-air, Goodra fired the massive water attack right into Gengar's face, just as he in turn summoned giant energy starts from the sky which hit Goodra. The collision of attacks forced Goodra to crash into the ground and Gengar to be knocked out of his Gigantamax form. Goodra now laid unconscious on the battlefield, as Gengar panted heavily. Unfortunately, moments later, Gengar collapsed onto the ground becoming unconscious too.
The dream referee announced, "Goodra and Gengar are both unable to battle."
After this, the announcer began to shout, "And yet another draw between these two Champions!"
Ash recalled Gengar to his Pokeball, "You did great, Gengar."
Diantha did the same for Goodra, "Great work, Goodra." She then took out another Pokeball,
"It looks like the final round is completely up to you." Diantha threw out it to call out Gardevoir, "Gardevoir, you're turn again!"
Once the Fairy/Pyschic-Type took to the field, she said, "Gardevoir."
Ash then looked down at Pikachu and said, "Pikachu, I choose you!"
Pikachu jumped out onto the field, "Pika!"
The announcer came in, "Diantha's last Pokemon, Gardevoir has come out to face Ash's Pikachu."
From their stands, Lincoln pointed out, "Both Pikachu and Gardevoir have been in previous battles and while Pikachu took a lot more damage in his battles, he's had longer to rest than Gardevoir has, so there's no telling how this could go. But Ash still has one Pokemon that hasn't battled yet."
Tigger stated, "Ash has to be on his toes here through. Let's not forget that Gardevoir can Mega Evolve."
Back on the battlefield, Ash gave the first command, "Pikachu, use Iron Tail!" Pikachu leaped into the air, as his tail became cloaked in metallic energy. He then swung his tail down towards Gardevoir.
