You grabbed every piece of paper tissue you could find in the bathroom and quickly walked over to the corridor, kneeling in front of the complete mess you had caused in the hall. With utter embarrassment, you walked over to the trashcan in the corner and threw away the empty cups of coffee as well as the thousand dirty paper tissues. "Y/N, you damn idiot!" you muttered under your breath, mopping the floor hurriedly with tissues, as you were supposed to be in your math class thirty minutes ago.

"Hm, aren't you supposed to be in class, young lady?" You suddenly heard over your shoulder. And with a startled turn, you glanced over at the janitor lady standing above you, her brow raising as she looked at your panicked face.

You shamefully cleared your throat, gesturing to the floor. "Oh, yes, I know. I just spilled some coffee," you admitted, an awkward chuckle escaping your lips as you looked up to her. Her gaze returned to you after a brief glance to the floor. "Come on, go to your class, I'll clean it up for you," she said with a kind, reassuring smile.

You rose from the floor, a sense of relief sweeping over you. "Really? It's alright, I⎯" With a chuckle, she cut your words short, gesturing with her hands. "No, no, hurry to your class now," she softly chuckled out, indicating that was more important than this.

You sighed deeply, relieved. "Oh, thank you, ma'am! I really appreciate it." You spoke out quickly, thanking her for her gratitude as you reached for your school bag. Her lips smiled warmly, peering as you quickly slung the bag over your shoulder. "Don't worry about it, have a nice day." After thanking her again, you rushed into the bathroom to rinse your hands under running water before heading to your math class. With an abrupt sprint, you hurried up the stairs and glanced over the classroom door on the end of the empty corridor, and with a deep breath, you approached the door, opening it gently as you watched Miss Nielsen narrow her eyes to the door as she heard it quietly open in the middle of her speech.

"Well, well," Miss Nielsen mumbled, her gaze narrowing to the clock before returning to you with a slight sigh. "You are a bit late, Y/N. Don't you think?" She spoke rudely, observing you nod awkwardly as you approached Katya's desk. "Yes, I know, Miss Nielsen," you answered quietly as you took a seat in the chair, dropping the bag on the table.

With a nonchalant sigh, she returned her gaze to the board, continuing with the mathematics lecture. "Anyhow, point A is 90%, so we define..." While Miss Nielsen narrowed her focus to the board, Katya glanced at you, her entire face beaming with worry as she whispered. "Where the fuck were you? I started to worry," she murmured quietly, her gaze wandering over your entire face.

You flung your bag aside before turning your astonished stare to Katya, your eyes wide as you murmured. "You won't believe what the hell just happened," you mentioned, shaking your head as you couldn't contain your shining grin.

Katya lifted an eyebrow, puzzled, as she couldn't tell if you were nervous or excited to tell her, but perhaps it was a little of both. "Huh? What do you mean?" she asked, perplexed. With a glimpse over her shoulder, Miss Nielsen looked at you both, her brows frowning as you both disregarded her class. "Ladies!" she shouted toward you both, catching your attention as she snapped her fingers rudely.

You adjusted your posture before mumbling. "I'll tell you after class," you whispered toward Katya, who could only keep wondering what had happened as she slowly narrowed her head back to the board with a raised eyebrow.

────School bell ringing────

Miss Nielsen clapped her hands and announced, "In the next math class, you will be free, don't forget!" She shouted to the students as the school bell rang. You hurriedly reached for your bag and rose from your chair, dragging Katya with you to the door before Miss Nielsen could speak to you. "Wowow, is it that urgent?" Katya chuckled in surprise as you held her arm and walked quickly out of the classroom.
