The moment he reached out and the golden sand came back there were sand creatures again and everyone was fighting the nightmares. At first North was fighting on the wrong roof and then everyone was on right page. We all thought Pitch had nowhere to run or to hide.

What a big mistake that was. It's over dad! His kids were telling him. Jack had his staff pointed toward him they were ready to end this but as long as there are shadows and darkness he can always hide. Jack look out Onyx called to him Pitch had made a weapon out of dark sand ready to pretty much cut Jack's head clean off.

Thankfully Bunny had his boomerangs and Jack ducked in time. But also he couldn't fight back even if he wanted to there was enough golden sand to bring the Sandman back. Gold laced around his limbs like he was a puppet on a string. The Sandman threw Pitch up in the air tipping his hat at the kids before slamming Pitch back down.

We were all happily surprised to see him. Well everyone except for Pitch of course. We thought for sure Pitch was defeated. He got lifted in the air and welcomed back. We were so happy. We thought it was all over. The mini tooth fairies pushed on the memories helping children around the world remember what was most important to them and their childhood.

Everything was falling into place. Everyone was having so much fun. And it was thanks to Jack. Jamie and I smiled at him as I wrapped my arms around my little brother my head on his head. We were picture perfect. This was something I knew none of us would ever forget. North interrupted when he asked if this was Jack's center.

It took some time and I had some help he nudged his head at me. But someone's been helping the kids believe in me just by her not growing up herself and always believing no matter how old she got. And I have my sister to thank for that. She is so much like me. I never would've thought I'd ever see either of them ever again. Even if she's not really my sister anymore. She is in the ways that count.

She's Jamie's now she's the big sister now. They have someone to help them believe in things to believe in us and more importantly in me. She's Ms. Jack Frost. Suits her he chuckled. Man if we were both winter spirits we would give you guys a run for your money not that I won't be doing that anyways like I suppose I have been the last 300 years give or take. But oh if only she were the expressions Bunny would make to see two of us.

It wasn't a moment later that North handed him own little wooden baby thing. Before everyone was throwing snowballs at each other. Heads up! I called. That is one heck of a throwing arm sis. He teased. Glad I ducked it would've had enough force to knock me over. Yeah she plays made up sports with us pretends each ball is a snowball. Jamie pipped up. Can't catch to save her life he teased but man she's got a good throwing arm and quick reflexes. She's also a very fast runner. She never seems to run out of energy except she's not a morning person.

Pitch was upset that everyone was having fun in his presence and tried to reach out for Jamie. Look out Jamie! I called to him just to watch Pitch run through him. He wasn't afraid. Pitch took off running we all arrived at the lake. Leaving so soon? The guardians began to ask him. You didn't even say goodbye. Tooth gave him a quarter and when he was confused she punched him in the face saying that was for her fairies. You can't get rid of me not forever there will always be fear. And that one he said pointing to me.... Is a feast. She may be just like Jack but she's also afraid of everything.

But she's not afraid now Jack wrapped his arms around me. No? Then what are they doing here? He referred to his nightmares the ones that weren't his children. They can't be any of our nightmares we are not afraid of you. North told him with a chuckle. Looks like it's your fear they smell Jack smirked back. Pitch was then dragged back to his cave through the broken down bed promising us we hadn't seen the last of him. Though we hoped he would be gone a while. Tooth gave him a big hug while the minis swooned at him and she told them to keep it together.

I rolled my eyes. North gathers everyone around he has his big guardian book. He wants Jack to make it official. Official what? I wondered. But we all watched in wonder and amazement. The elves that had been disappointed before and interrupted the last time they tried to make him a guardian smacked his horn around unhappy. But they continued. It was like marriage vows. Asking if he would protect the children of the world because they were all that they were and all they would ever be. He looked around at all of us his eyes making contact with myself and Jamie. Before saying he will.

Everyone celebrated. He was a guardian now. I gave him a big hug. The sleigh came around to bring them all home. I looked at it and frowned. I knew it was time for them to leave as all the other kids got sleep in their eyes thanks to Sandy. Jamie had the same thoughts and feelings. Bunny hugged Sophie goodbye as the yetis brought the other kids to their houses. How they knew which house each kid belonged in I'll never know. You're leaving?! Jamie and I rushed after Jack as the others got on the sleigh.

What if Pitch comes back what if we stop believing what if I can't see you?! He panicked. My heart raced as I chewed my bottom lip. My eyes sparkled like tears were about to fall. Jack kneeled down to his level. Hey slow down he teased. A hand on his shoulder. Do you stop believing in the moon when the sun comes up. No Jamie started. I cocked my head to side where was this going? Do you stop believing in the sun when clouds block it out? He teased again. No Jamie softly chuckled.

We'll always be here Jamie me or your sister and mine. If you ever feel your belief is wavering you always have a piece of me wherever you go you live with female me she'll be there to help you keep believing. And you know that kind of makes both of you guardians too. He winked up at me. I just got you back. I hugged him I don't want to say goodbye. I wrapped my arms around his neck. Slow down mini me. Who said this was goodbye? He cocked his head to the side pulling me at arms length.

Winter doesn't last forever Jack even you know that. And it's technically spring right now we're in April. From late fall to early spring as much as I can get away with I will be here. And when I can't we can write to each other every day. We were both made for something greater. Me as Jack Frost and you would be a good guardian of belief. MIM needed you to be reincarnated to help the children through a time like this. We couldn't had done this without you you know? Don't say goodbye because saying goodbye means growing up and growing up means forgetting. Never forget. I'll never forget you Peter Pan I teased back at him. I don't get the quote he looks at me confused. He's a lot like you. The boy that never could grow up and the boy that never wanted to.

I will never let you go again. We'll figure something out. I promise. I won't lose you I just got you back. So instead of goodbye how about just see ya later? I let him go as he turned to get on the sleigh. That is until Jamie and I rammed our bodies into him for one last hug. I love you I whispered to him. I love you too he muttered back. He kissed my forehead and ruffled Jamie's hair. It was time for them to go. We watched them fly away waving to them until they were out of sight. But I knew he would be back.
