                             ☘︎Y/N POV☘︎

I walked down the alley, people passing by like it wasn't a care in the world, I stopped as I heard some yelling around the corner.

"Where's the sacrilege now, huh?" Someone said in a threatening tone as they pushed the person on the wall. "Or does your philosophy say it's wrong to fight back, too?"

"As a matter of fact, it does." They said back. I took a peak around the wall to see a boy holding Armin by the collar.

I stayed behind the wall as they continued to angerly teach Armin.

"I'd rather take a few lumps than brawl like a beast!" Armin said as he kept eye contact with him.

"Oh, so now I'm a beast?" The asked.

"Take a good, hard look at yourself and tell me you're not acting like one! You resort to violence because your brain is the size of a walnut!" Armin said as he put his hand boys so he could un-hand him. "So pummel me all you want! I've already won."

What am I doing? Why and I just standing here watching them? They could beat Armins ass and I'm just standing here- I mean, no offense to Armin, but he's not much of a fighter.

"You know, my mom said that Titan's are pretty stupid, all they know how do is eat things that's infront of them, and you know that's kinda what your doing. You're basically bullying Armin because nothing is coming to your head but bullying him." I said as I got from behind the wall to reveal myself.

One of the boys tried to grab me, but I quickly grabbed his arm, throwing him onto the floor. "I wish my mom was here to see that. She was teaching me that move for so long, and I finally got it!" I said happily.

"Are you talking about the soldier that leg was basically gone. She was pathetic." Another boy scoffed, basically laughing at me.

I stopped as I looked up at the boy. "You bastard." I ran at him and quickly slid on the dirt ground as I kicking him in the knee. He fell to the ground as he yelled in pain.

"At least my mom can still walk with both of her legs. Yours broke, so how would you know!" I yelled as I kicked him. He covered his head as he sat there and just let me do it.

I was stopped as someone grabbed me and pulled me away from him. I looked behind me to see Mikasa holding onto me. Once I looked back, he was already running off with the other boys.

Mikasa let me out of her grasp as I sighed, I was supposed to be helping Armin. I looked over to Armin, who was on the floor with an angered expression. "It's alright. Thank you."

"Okay..." Eren replied in a sad tone, like he really wanted to help Armin out.

Armin, Eren, Mikasa, and I sit on the steps near the water, I looked at the sky as we sat there in silence for a bit.

"Oh, they just heard me ratting on about how mankind's future lay beyond the walls. Doubt they understood half of it, but still." Armin said in a casual tone as it wasn't a big problem.

"Idiots." Eren hissed and throws a rock in the water. "Why's it gotta be this way? Why can't people just let us dream?" Eren asked up.

"The walls are powerful ideas. We've survived for a hundred years because of them. No one's keen on tempting fate. I may not agree with that sentiment, but I can see where they're coming from. It's human nature, Eren. When all's said and done, the government's policies are a reflection of our fear." Armin was just talking as he just looked at the ground as he was out of it.
