Alex was the first person to go away the next morning. His bed was right by the window, so the sun hit his eyes. He opened his eyes and stood, stretching his sleepy body. He then walked over to the bathroom, but just then he saw Henry fast asleep on the second bed. His torso appeared exposed, seemingly because of the heat. He forced his eyes away and walked into the bathroom, washing his face, brushing his teeth, and taking his vitamins. He walked out and pulled on a pair of dark wash blue jeans, a brown t-shirt, and a pair of light brown cowboy boots.
He walked downstairs and finished washing the dishes before heading out to the barn to saddle up his horse.
Henry was awoken by the sound of neighing and the smell of sizzling bacon. He threw on a pair of mom jeans but didn't bother to put a shirt on yet. He walked downstairs to see Mama cooking breakfast.
"I heard a horse," he said, walking into the kitchen. She looked back at him.
"Ah, yes, Alex. He's practicing his ropin. He's going to participate in the rodeo this year." She was pouring coffee.
"Coffee or orange juice?" She asked Henry.
"Orange, thank you," he said, taking the juice and walking outside to the pasture. There, Alex was seated upon a large brown and white horse, chancing a small sheep. He was sweating through his shirt and had a concentrated look on his face. Henry watched in awe as the blond caught the sheep and tied her up. He was gentle and yet precise. Henry cheered for the blonde, making his head snap up. He blushed brightly.
"H-Henry?!" He said, letting the sheep go. He collected the rope and walked over to the pasture fence.
"Mornin'," Alex said, leaning on the fence. His scent of wine was powerful and made Henry push out his rain scent to make the other submit.
"Good morning. You looked great out there," Henry said with a smirk. His pheromones are getting stronger.
"Ahaha, thank you," he said, flustered, realizing what Henry was trying to do. Just then, Mama called them in.
"So there is going to be a little party thing tonight at a restaurant in town. I was wondering if you'd like to come. Seein as you want to, you know, try out American things," he said, looking up at the other alpha.
"Oh, yes, I'd love to," Henry said as they walked in.
