I think in my head the day I got proposed to id know, id know when the man of my dreams (Ace) was going to propose but apparently im blind, and completely oblivious. I was getting my hair and makeup, and nails done for a family photo shoot. And truly I believed it. And now I'm standing in front of Ace with my hands fanning my face trying not to cry so I dont ruin the beautiful makeup on my face. Luca and Layla are cheering us on from a distance. Ace finally gets up off of his knee and hugs me.. And in this moment I want to pause time and leave everything just like this, as perfect as possible, knowing that in this moment i've found the love of my life, I have the best friend that anybody could ask for and I'm blessed with Luca. Ace finally lets me go and we turn towards the camera's huge grins on our cheeks as I show off my engagement ring, it's beautiful. I smile and look up at Ace. "I love you." His eyes sparkle and he lifts me up, spinning us in circles. "I get to call you my fiance now!" We both laugh as he places me back down on the ground. Luca runs to Ace who picks him up and tickles him making him giggle. I glare at Layla. "You're supposed to warn me, so I have time to prepare myself not to cry!" I try to sound serious while placing my hands on my hips, but one small laugh from Layla and we both burst out laughing. Eventually we're walking back to the car. Luca's asleep and Layla looks like she's about to fall asleep next. Ace rode his motorcycle here so he's going to follow us back home.
On the ride home I get bored of reading and look out of the window. Ace is beside us. And he sees me looking at him and decides to show off. He speeds up and begins to do a wheelie. All of the sudden a car comes into his lane, causing Ace to make a split second decision and cut us off. Layla slams on her brakes. We decide to get off at the next exit because we're all shaking. When I get out of the car Ace is pacing back and forth. "Ace! You could have died. You didn't need to show off. I think you riding a bike is plenty of sexiness in itself, but I'd rather you not die! What the fuck where you thinking Ace?!" I shout, holding my head and shuffling around. He takes his helmet off and smirks at me. "What?! You think this is funny? You think you almost dying is funny?!" I shout pointing my finger at him. He pauses and takes a deep breath looking down. "Princess stop, you're really turning me on right now." I frown and huff walking away. I pause and turn around walking back towards him. "I love you." I give him a quick peck and begin walking away. "I Love you too, see you a home princess." I Climb back into the car and we drive away. Layla is looking over at me. "It's like having a child, he acts just like a small child." We both laugh but then quickly stop when I turn to see Luca completely knocked out in the backseat.
When we pulled into the parking garage Ace was already there and leaning on his bike. He had this smug look on his face which was extremely hot. He walked over and opened the back car door unbuckling Luca and taking him out of his carseat and carrying him inside. Luca's head was rested on Ace's shoulder and he was still sound asleep. I looked over at Layla who was looking at Luca and smiling. She turned and looked at me and smiled, causing me to smile back. When we got into the apartment Layla walked straight towards her room and Ace went to put Luca in his bed. I decided to go to our room and just lay there until he came to join me. I sat up in bed staring at my ring playing with it smiling in amazement at how beautiful it was. "You like it?" Ace questioned and I nodded. "I love it." He snuggled next to me resting his head on my shoulder and looked up at me smiling. "I get to say my fiance now." He whispers and I kiss his forehead, shaking my head smiling down at him. "I get to call you y finance to!"
