Curtain call's Verdict

Afternoon Flânerie

'Give me a minute Furina.' Aether said, as he changed the ousia core of the Gramaphone, exchanging the old for a new one, before cranking it up again and inserting a disc onto its plate, as the tunes start playing out of the speaker. Furina eagerly looking onto him both her hands on her chin, her elbows resting on the clothed table.

'There we go.' Aether said, before taking a seat in front of hers.

The table was set with delicate Fontaine style teacups and saucers, silver spoons, and a three-tiered tray of pastries and desserts, as a floating hydro crab in a maid-like outfit arranged it, hovering around the table, setting up the utensils. The desserts comprising of Fontinalia Musse, some la Lettre A Focalors cake, some creme brulee, Macaroons and the 16 a day cake.

'Huh so you can actually master that recipe whenever you want.' Aether said, staring down at the cakes on the tray.

'Well of course I can, when it comes to desserts that is. Eh, just don't look into the bin in my kitchen back home.' She said, whilst giving a cheeky smile.

'Interesting, anyways thanks for the tea party invitation Furina.' He said.

Just in time, Paimon flew back into the tea pot after a fishing exodus and is surprised to see the tea party at the Groundfloor of the Mansion. 'Eh when did you guys started a tea party?' before putting down her gear and an empty bucket, with a boot in it.

'What a catch eh?' Furina said, smirking at her.

'OI! Paimon tried her very best! NRGHHHH Paimon's going to give you an ugly nickname!' Paimon pouted crossing her arms and floating towards us.

'Don't need for all that Paimon, I merely jest, do come and join us.' Furina said.

'Hmph, only because there are delicious desserts, paimon will forgive you.'  She said before picking up a cake and stuffing herself with it.

Furina continuing the conversation she had with Aether, 'Oh, don't thank me for it, thank you for this atmosphere to have tea in, beats being at my backyard, such a mundane scenery there compared to what I have on my eyes here, the shifting currents of the sea, accompanied with even marine life swimming in it, with the shade of sunlight gleaming into the waters, ah what a sight.' She said.

'Getting Poetic, are we?' Aether said.

'Ah, it's a bad habit of mine, excuse me, Aether thank you for inviting me to this place.' Furina said, looking into his eyes, her other hand on the teacup.

'Anytime Furina, so who are those uh, hydro mimics?' Aether asked, pointing at the hydro crab, seahorse and octopus hovering about.

Furina giggled, and continued, 'Hehe, those are my greatest fans, my salon solitaire!' She said proudly. Before calming herself down again, and with a wry smile, 'And uh...my only friends I guess...Hehe...' She said with a lowered tone.

'That's kinda sad.' Paimon said.

'Tch shut up Paimon.' Aether said softly, budging her shoulder.

Paimon, realizing it changed her demeanor, 'Oh uh Hehe, what Paimon meant was uh its Kinda sad because you have only 3 friends.'

Aether face palming himself, and grabbing paimon's arm, 'For fuck's sake, you really have a way with words eh, just be quiet alright.' He said, before turning back to Furina.
