49. STORMED OFF

Later that evening, Taehyung returned home and opened Y/N's door once again. Y/N was still sitting in the same spot as she was in the morning. Taehyung walked up to her, gently lifted her chin, and gazed into her eyes.

KTH:- Do you have something to tell me?

Y/N looked up at Taehyung, her eyes filled with affection. She hugged him tightly, pulling him closer. Taehyung embraced Y/N and they both fell onto the bed. Y/N kissed Taehyung passionately.

Y/N:- I need you.

KTH:- I'm here for you.

Y/N:- Please don't ask any questions, just stay by my side.

Taehyung agreed.

Despite maintaining a calm exterior, Taehyung felt a pang in his heart. Why didn’t Y/N stop loving Robin even after their rough patch? Does she still have feelings for Robin? However, in this kiss, he could only feel love.

KTH:- (Does Y/N truly want me or is she just searching for happiness? I'm not sure, but I love her deeply. I'll give her whatever she desires.)

Taehyung had so much trust in Y/N that he gave her the freedom to go out. But, there were a few conditions. Y/N had to inform him before going anywhere.

KTH:- Avoid using the main road, use only the back door, and make sure no one knew you live in this mansion.

Y/N:- But the media doesn't know this is your house, right?

KTH:- I'm not talking to you as a celebrity, but as someone involved with the underworld. Can you at least tell Jimin before you go?

Y/N:- Okay.

KTH:- Please understand, I'm not trying to control you. It's all about keeping you safe.

Y/N:- Yes, I understand.

Y/N started going out freely, visiting places like her old home, the library, the mall, and the park. However, there was a noticeable change in her personality after that party.

Taehyung initially assumed it was because she missed Robin, but it turned out to be something else.
Since that rainy night, Y/N's dreams had been disrupted. Her job, studies, position, and future company were slowly slipping away.

Y/N felt a deep sadness at the mere notion of being confined, responsible for herself, and trapped in a lavish but confining cage for the rest of her life. She understood that even if the cage was adorned with jewels and riches, it remained a cage at its core.

Y/N had been forbidden from asking questions, but Taehyung failed to see the extent of her turmoil.

KTH:- Y/N, what's wrong?

Y/N:- Nothing.

KTH:- You don't seem happy from that incident.

Y/N:- I'm just a little upset, nothing more.

KTH:- Is there anything I can do?

Y/N:- I'll be fine, really.

KTH:- Then just try to be happy.

Y/N:- How can I find happiness when I can't even see myself? I wake up, eat, drink, pass time, and sleep—it feels like I'm just going through the motions of life.

Furious, Y/N stormed off to her room. Taehyung had never witnessed her so enraged, but he had no options left.

One day Y/N went to the library.  There was no one in the library that day.  Y/N took the book she wanted and sat on the bench.  By the way, the library is quiet but there was something wrong in this silence. 

Y/N looked around, there was no one.  Just then someone put a hand on her shoulder and Y/N flinched.

??:- I am sorry to startled you.  Are you Miss Kang? 

Y/N:- Yes, Who are you? 

The man put a black mask on Y/N's face and clamped her mouth and his accomplice grabbed her legs and lifted her through another door. 

Within an hour, the men who had been kept for Y/N's security were feeling strange. Why Y/N hasn't come yet, they come inside but they don't see Y/N anywhere.  When they went to ask the librarian, they found her tied up. 

MAN1:- Where is ma'am? 

LIBRARIAN:- Some people came and grabbed her and took her away.

One of the member called Jimin. Jimin was then working with  Taehyung  in Shine's cabin. 

JIMIN:-  Hello, what happened?  What shit you eat?  Check CCTV. 

KTH:- What happened 

JIMIN:-  Miss Kang...

KTH:- What happened to her?

JIMIN:-  Someone kidnapped her. 

KTH:- What? Who? Who was with her?  I will kill him.  Because of this I was not letting her go anywhere. 

Taehyung knocked down the computer on the table, destroyed it, holding Jimin's chin he said,

KTH:- Who is it I want his name in two hours. 

Y/N's eyes can’t see anything but dark, blindfolded and legs tied to the chair with ropes, Y/N is struggling. A man removed the black cloth from her face and pulled off the masking tape. 

Y/N:- Untie me otherwise you won’t see tomorrow’s sunrise. 

Just then she heard foot steps. 

Y/N:- ...You?
