82. REVENGE

Y/N:- That night, before our mission, when I thought everything was fine between us, what did you want to talk to me about that was causing a rift?

KTH:- You know what it is. I kill everyone who posed a threat to you, except for one - Robin.

Y/N was taken aback by the mention of Robin.

Y/N:- Why bring him up now?

KTH:- I won't rest until I kill him.

Y/N:- You can't do that.

KTH:- Why not? Why do you defend him and why does your heartbeat race every time we talk about him?

Y/N:- It's not like that.

KTH:- Then let me handle it.

Y/N:- No.

KTH:- Why?

Y/N:- Because he's my target.

KTH:- What?

Y/N:- He really hurt me a lot. I loved him so much, only to have him betray me. Can you believe what he said? "I never loved you. A girl like you is just trying to take my spot." He used me because he was scared I would surpass him in skills and status. I wanted to crush his ego. That night we met, I almost ended my life, but this pendant saved me. I lived for the pendant, for aunt Moni, and for revenge. But then I realized I was straying from my goal - I wanted to build a successful company, to prove myself. If Robin had died that day, it would have been too easy for him.

That fire in Y/N's eyes, that burning determination shocked Taehyung.

KTH:- I had no clue about all this, but don't worry, I've got your back now. Let's work hard together.

Y/N gave a nod and decided to put all her studies to the test by opening her own company. With Taehyung's help from Shine, she set up a small sole trading business. Shine became a shareholder by purchasing shares of the company.

The name of Y/N's company quickly spread in the market, with the name luxury perfume brand 'THV'. The value of THV soared in the share market. However, there was a hiccup when SMF threatened legal action regarding plagiarism, patent, and ownership. A meeting was called with all major shareholders present.

Shine's owner, Mr. Kim Taehyung, returned to reality. Taehyung clarified that the reports to the media of his demise were inaccurate and that he was simply taking a break due to his health.

As Taehyung prepared to leave the world of organized crime behind, he called for one final gathering that was attended by all.

IN MAFIA MEETING:-

KTH:- I'm not here to listen to anyone's words. I just wanted to inform you all that I have decided to retire from the mafia life. I am relinquishing my position and responsibilities. Keep in mind, just because the lion has stopped hunting, doesn't mean he's forgotten how to. The battles may be over, but they are not forgotten. If anyone dares to harm my loved ones with thoughts of vengeance, they will regret it for the rest of their life.

With that, Taehyung made his intentions clear and departed.

MAFIA 1:- He's let his guard down, let's take him out.

MAFIA 2:- He was a thorn in our side and he's removed himself. Do you really want to provoke him into finishing us off?

Attempting to harm him is like sticking your hand into a lion's mouth. The wise move is to let him go peacefully.

Meanwhile, there was still some time before the SMF meeting was set to begin. The room was filled with SMF's stakeholders, CEO, and other important company members, including Robin. Whispers circulated among the group, with everyone feeling tense about the sudden emergence of a powerful competitor overnight.

MEMBER 1:- How is this new company managing to compete with us?

MEMBER 2:- THV! It's a high-end brand, but I'm puzzled as to why the owner of SHINE decided to invest in them.

MEMBER 3:- Mr. Kim had locked in a deal with us for our main product, but now he's supporting our competition who created the same fragrance. This mist belongs to you, Robin, it's your creation and your patent. How can this be happening?

ROBIN:- I'm just as surprised as you are! And doesn't the owner of THV need to be here right now? I've heard rumors that a young woman is behind all of this.

As the shareholders continued to talk, the meeting room door swung open. In walked a confident, beautiful woman with a strong presence. It was none other than Miss Kang Y/N.

Y/N:- Good morning, everyone. I'm the owner and CEO of THV. Pleasure to meet you all.

All eyes turned to Y/N, leaving one person in disbelief.

MEMBER 1:- Miss Kang, are you really the owner of THV? How did this happen?

Y/N:- Yes, Mr. I used to work for your company, but some unexpected events led to my sudden departure. I hope you don't regret my absence from your company.

MEMBER 2:- Let's get straight to it, Robin will discuss the patent copy we've gathered at today's meeting.

Y/N:- Sure thing! I'm all ears.

Y/N made strong eye contact with Robin, looking deeply into his eyes. With a confident smile, she raised an eyebrow, causing Robin to feel puzzled.
