58. ANOTHER CHANCE

SHARON:- You fired bullets with this hand, didn't you?

Feeling unsettled, Y/N swiftly exits the club and returns home.

This had become her ritual - shedding her clothes and submerging her body in the bathtub for hours. But no matter how much she tried, those haunting moments couldn't be wiped away from her mind.

Meanwhile, Y/N was trying to escape the noise emanating from the TV by drawning herself in the bathtub.

Ignoring the concept of time, Y/N decided to head back to the club. As she strolled along the street, she suddenly heard a commotion nearby. Y/N followed the sound, leading her to witness a distraught pregnant woman lying down at the side of the road.

Y/N:- Hey there! Are you alright, ma'am?

LADY:- Ahh! Help me, my baby.. Ahh!

Y/N:- Hang on! Is your car nearby?

LADY:- My Mercedes is just a short distance away, take this key.

As Y/N held the key, the woman grabbed her hand.

LADY:- I'm trusting you by giving you this key. Please help me, I can't handle it alone.

Y/N:- I won't let you down. Trust me, I'm here for you.

Y/N quickly made her way into the alley, found the car, and drove it back to the woman. Carefully placing her in the backseat, Y/N headed towards the hospital. A feeling of unease started creeping in that women's stomach. She started feeling distressed.

Y/N:- Hang in there a little longer, we'll arrive soon.

Before long, Y/N arrived at the hospital. She shouted for the compounder's help and with their assistance, laid the woman on a stretcher. The rest was taken care of by the doctor.

Some time after the woman gave birth, Y/N went to check on her.

Y/N:- How are you feeling?

LADY:- Oh dear, thank you. If you hadn't come to help...

Y/N:- Everything is fine now, regardless of what happened before.

LADY:- I'm Park Daisy. You didn't mention your name.

Y/N:- My name is Kang Y/N. Nice to meet you, Park Daisy. I have to go now.

Y/N had the day off today. After tending to her houseplants and making a cup of black coffee, she settled down with her laptop to study. Suddenly, the doorbell rang, catching Y/N off guard.

Y/N:- Doorbell? No one really knows me around here. Who could it be? I've already paid this month's rent.

Curiosity got the best of her, so Y/N opened the door and was taken aback by the person standing before her.

JIMIN:- Hello, Miss Kang!

Y/N:- So, he's still alive.
