Y/N was slowly recovering, but was confused about Taehyung and Jimin's secretive behavior.

Y/N:- What are you guys talking about?

KTH:- You don't need to know. Just focus on taking care of yourself.

Y/N:- I can walk...

JIMIN:- It's late, we should go to sleep. Daisy will be waiting for you, Y/N.

Y/N:- Whatever.

A few days later, Jimin and Taehyung were occupied with some work.

JIMIN:- That Basterd is throwing another party.

KTH:- What's the occasion?

JIMIN:- He says it's just a casual thing, but we everybody know it's because he caught us off guard and made us run for cover. How embarrassing. And his party theme is a 'ball' with masks on! How stupid!

KTH:- He's not dumb. He's smart enough to know we'll still show up at his party without him suspecting a thing.

JIMIN:- So what's the plan?

KTH:- We're still going to attend Han's party.

Y/N:- What? You're actually going to his party? Are you crazy?

KTH:- Stop eavesdropping, Y/N, and leave us alone.

Y/N:- No! Tell me your plan! I won't go if it's something risky.

KTH:- Don't be stubborn, Y/N. I've already caused you enough trouble, I don't want you to get caught up in it again. It's too dangerous.

Y/N:- I'm the one who messed things up, Jimin and his family might be in danger because of me. Let me help you, Mr. Kim... let me do my part, or this guilt will crush me.

KTH:- Call me Taehyung.

Y/N:- R-Really? You forgive me?

KTH:- Okay, here's the plan. We're heading to the party all dressed up. Jimin will join us later, entering the castle through the basement pipe. There should be a kitchen getaway pipe; Jimin, dress like a chef and handle the armor department. Remember, no weapons allowed. Han will have all the evidence with him, because his only loyal guy is dead thanks to Y/N. Our men are already searching for evidence, so it's likely that everything we need is with him. Y/N, you'll need to find the proof while I distract Han. You'll have limited time, so be quick. Plan B: If Y/N is in danger, our priority is getting her out of the castle. Got it?

JIMIN:- Got it, boss.

KTH:- My focus is on Han, Jimin on the armor, and Y/N on the evidence. Let's do this.

DAISY:- And don't forget, you'll need some costumes. I'll take care of that for you.

JIMIN:- You haven't slept yet.

DAISY:- I want to have a chat with you.

KTH:- Alright Jimin, you can head off now! Let's get some rest. Tomorrow is a big day for all of us.

In the bedroom

DAISY:- Please be safe!

JIMIN:- Don't worry, this is my final task. I'll return in one piece.

Daisy cupped Jimin's face, drawing him in for a passionate kiss.

Y/N was sleeping in Daisy's room from past few days, so she quietly made her way back to the room. Catching a glimpse of Jimin and Daisy kissing, she smiled and left without disturbing them.

Entering the hall, Y/N noticed Taehyung standing by the window. She awkwardly approached him, wanting to keep him company.

Y/N:- This view is stunning, don't you think?

KTH:- Hmm!

Y/N:- Tae...

KTH:- Why are you still up?

Y/N:- You're not asleep either.

KTH:- ...

Y/N gazed at Taehyung, her eyes drawn to his lips. She inched closer to him, causing both of their heartbeats to quicken. Y/N tentatively took his hand and moved closer to his face.

Taehyung leaned in, their lips almost touching before he abruptly turned away and walked off, leaving Y/N feeling perplexed. She hurriedly caught up to him, asking why he was pulling away.

Y/N:- I thought you had forgiven me. Is there still something wrong between us?

KTH:- I have no right to forgive you. My past behavior towards you was much worse than yours. I am ashamed.

Y/N:- Please don't say that. Then why are you distancing yourself from me?

KTH:- There is something I need to figure out, but it's not the right time. Let's focus on this mission first. We can talk later. Now, go get some rest.

Y/N:- (What's holding him back from loving me again? I just want him to love me, I can't bear the thought of losing him. I hope he will love me again, I can't bear the thought of living without him. I pray our plan works and we can be together once more. As for the pendant, it was never mine - it's his, and I won't take it back. I just love him unconditionally. )
