Hey guys and welcome to Rhyme 28 :3

I'm currently in the middle of writing the next part (my favorite in this book so far by far). This chapter is Evra's birthday (again) but with Levi and Aryia attending the fair with her, so I hope you enjoy since it's kinda fun, but with that said, I'm really looking forward to posting next week's chapter.

Either way though, I hope you all enjoy today's part :3

Chapter Song: LA Summer Nights - Aryia

-

Following our tour of Texas and the West Coast, Aryia and I shared photos and videos our fans had taken of our performances and with us during meet and greets with Levi. He stared at a few of them with fascinated noises and helped me to put some of my favorites into a photo album and scrapbook I was collating with him, getting covered in glue five minutes after we'd started sticking and prompting a bath once we were done.

Following our discussion about music, Levi told me what he had on his birthday list for next February. "I think I wanna learn guitar, Momma."

"You do, huh? Why?"

"They look cool." He said as I worked shampoo into his hair. "You have a guitar and Papi has a guitar. So does uncle Six and uncle Jason and you all look really cool."

I smiled at this. "Who looks cooler?"

He hummed in thought about his answer for a minute before he told me. "Papi." He nodded.

"So I don't look good?"

"No, you do. But Papi looks really cool when he's singing in your room. You look pretty but you look better on the pianono."

"Piano." I giggled, correcting him.

"Piano."

I nodded when he got the word right.

"What do you want for your birthday, Momma?" Levi asked, looking up at me before I doused his thick dark curls in water, making him giggle.

I hadn't expected the question. Part of me thought that Aryia asked him to ask me this to get back at me for the chocolate fudge cake I'd made for his birthday a few weeks ago. My boyfriend never really had a fondness for sweets in general, and we'd always claimed that he was sweet enough, but I wanted to see if tastes changed every 7 or so years like people claimed; needless to say it hadn't gone well but Aryia ate the cake out of gratefulness more than anything while the rest of us enjoyed ourselves a little more. I didn't think this could be the reason for Levi's question though.

I admittedly wished that I could have done something more special for Aryia's 30th birthday, but following tour, we'd wanted to spend more time with Levi and jetting off to Europe on an 11 hour plus flight with a wriggly three-year-old wasn't exactly the best idea. So instead we'd spent the day at the beach and I'd surprised him with tickets to When We Were Young Fest 2026 which he'd absolutely loved.

Admittedly though, I had no idea what I wanted to do for my own 30th. Usually we spent my birthday doing something exciting like going to a theme park, arranging tours or going somewhere new, but this year I had no idea what I wanted to do.

"I'm not really sure." I admitted.

"You don't know?"

I shook my head.

"Why don't you know?"

"I'm just not sure." I admitted.

"You gotta have some idea."

"Yeah, well sometimes I'm indecisive."

"What does that mean?"

"That I don't know what I want."
