"Fly me to the moon, and let me play amongst the stars..."
I sang softly as I prepared breakfast, the familiar melody filling my cozy apartment.
The first day of December had arrived, painting the streets outside in a blanket of white snow. The chill in the air was undeniable, but inside, warmth radiated through me - and not just from the heater.
I placed my breakfast neatly on the plate and wandered over to the coffee machine. As the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air, a contented sigh escaped my lips.
A wide smile spread across my face as I sat down on the white stool.
You might be wondering why I was so giddy today.
It was simple: I had a date with my six boyfriends.
Yes, six. Being in a poly relationship wasn't something everyone understood, but for us, it worked perfectly. They were my everything, and I loved them all equally.
After finishing breakfast, I glanced at the clock - 7:45 AM. We were meeting at 8:15 at Beary Bear Café, a spot we frequented often.
Realizing I had no time to waste, I quickly washed my plate and double-checked my outfit in the mirror. My white-and-black cardigan paired with a white turtleneck and black flared pants gave me a chic, cozy winter look. The finishing touch was my Prada beret, perched perfectly on my head.
Satisfied, I grabbed my tote bag and headed out of the apartment.
---
The walk to the café was serene. The streets sparkled under the soft morning light, the snow crunching under my boots. Laughter filled the air as children played, their cheeks rosy from the cold.
A familiar warmth filled my heart.
Soon, the café sign came into view across the street, its brown and beige tones glowing softly. I crossed the road cautiously, taking in the festive decorations as I approached.
The bell chimed as I pushed the door open, and a cheerful waitress greeted me by the entrance.
"Hi! Welcome to Beary Bear Café! Do you have a reservation, or would you like to book a table?" she asked, her voice warm and welcoming.
"Yes, there's a reservation under 7 Lee's," I replied with a smile.
She flipped through her book before nodding. "Ah, yes! You've booked a private table. Mrs. Jang will take you there."
A second waitress appeared, bowing politely before gesturing for me to follow her upstairs to a cozy private section.
---
As soon as I stepped into the room, my eyes immediately landed on my six boyfriends. They were seated at a large seven-seater table, and the moment they saw me, their faces lit up with joy.
"Love! Over here!" Jake's excited voice rang out, drawing the attention of a few nearby patrons.
My cheeks flushed with embarrassment as I made my way over, sliding into the seat between Jake and Heeseung. The others - Jay, Sunghoon, Jungwon, and Ni-ki - sat across from us, grinning widely.
"Hi, guys!" I greeted softly, unable to contain my happiness.
Almost immediately, Heeseung and Jake leaned closer, wrapping their arms around me from both sides, caging me in their warmth.
"Hi, love," Heeseung whispered, his voice soft and soothing.
"You look beautiful as always, hyung," Jungwon added, his eyes sparkling with affection.
"Thanks, Wonnie," I giggled, blowing him a playful kiss.
Jungwon flushed red, earning a chorus of laughter from the others.
