♡ Sunoo POV ♡
——

After breakfast, Jay's protective side kicked in. He insisted I take medicine, despite my protests.

"Jay, seriously, I'm fine-"

He cut me off with a sharp look. "No more arguing, Sunoo. It's for your own good."

I sighed, rolling my eyes. "You're worse than a nurse."

Jay crossed his arms, unmoved. "And you're a terrible patient."

Reluctantly, I took the pills, grimacing as I swallowed them with water. Jay stood there, watching closely to make sure I didn't fake it. His stern expression softened once I finished.

"See? Not so bad," he murmured, brushing a hand over my hair. "You need to take better care of yourself."

"I have you guys for that," I whispered, the words slipping out before I could stop them.

Jay's lips twitched into a faint smile. "Damn right you do."

Later, Heeseung helped me walk back to my room, offering his arm for support.

"You don't have to baby me," I teased.

"Too bad. I'm doing it anyway," Heeseung replied with a playful grin. "Besides, you've been through a lot. Let us take care of you for once."

Once in my room, I asked for some time alone, needing to sort through my thoughts.

Sitting at my study table, I traced the familiar cover of my notebook. My fingers trembled slightly as I flipped it open to the page that had changed everything:

"I wish that when I turn 18, six people will appear and love me for who I am."

The words stared back at me, haunting yet hopeful. What had once been a desperate wish felt surreal now - almost like a fairytale come true.

But fairytales often come with a price.

A few hours later, a soft knock on the door pulled me from my thoughts.

"Come in," I called softly.

The door creaked open, and Jake peeked his head inside. His eyes met mine, his warm gaze like sunshine after a storm.

"Hi, Sunoo."

"Hey, Jake," I replied, offering a small smile.

Jake stepped inside, rubbing the back of his neck, looking a little shy. "Um, the others were thinking of having a movie night... We wanted to know if you'd like to join."

I chuckled at his nervousness. "You guys really can't leave me alone, huh?"

His lips quirked into a grin. "Nope."

"I'd love to," I added gently, and Jake's shoulders relaxed in relief.

Without warning, he strode over and scooped me into his arms.

"Jake!" I squeaked, eyes wide. "Put me down!"

"Not a chance," he teased, holding me securely. "You're still recovering, and we don't take risks when it comes to you."

I huffed, burying my face in his shoulder to hide my blush. His warmth was comforting, grounding me in ways I couldn't explain.

When we reached the living room, my eyes widened in awe.

Pillows and blankets were scattered everywhere, turning the space into a cozy nest. String lights twinkled softly along the walls, casting a warm glow.

"Wow... Did you guys do all this?"

Sunghoon and jay appeared from the front door, lugging bags of snacks. "Of course. Movie night's not complete without snacks."

Niki popped his head out from under a blanket fort. "Sunoo! Over here!"

Heeseung and Jungwon were arranging the pillows, bickering over how many were too many.

"I told you, Hee, 7 pillows per person is excessive!" Jungwon exclaimed, throwing a pillow at him.

"There's no such thing as too many pillows," Heeseung shot back, catching it with ease.

Jake gently set me down on the couch. "We wanted it to be special," he murmured, leaning close. "For you."

I looked around, taking in their smiles, their laughter, their warmth.

For the first time in a long while, I felt truly at home.

This wasn't just a wish anymore.

It was my reality.

It was love, slowly taking root in my heart.

"Thank you," I whispered, voice thick with emotion. "For everything."

Jay plopped down beside me with a grin. "What are you waiting for? Pick a movie!"

Jake leaned closer, his voice soft and playful. "But no horror. I don't think my heart can take it."

I laughed, wiping at my eyes. "Alright, no horror. How about something fun?"

As they all settled in around me, I realized something important.

They weren't just fulfilling a wish.

They were giving me a reason to believe in love again.
