Chapter-18

7pm:-

Y/n was looking through all the CCTV footages that Jungkook's hacker provided her. She was angry with Jungkook but she couldn't deny this one offer and when it was to find Juliette's killers, she thought it was worth it.

She still wasn't able to find her murderers. The same shopkeeper and farmer were there to check for the men in the gangs they killed but they weren't able to find those. 

Y/n was currently at Jimin's place in the study room cause she didn't wanted to involve Sook in all that even by mistake and Sana and Jimin were at Sana's place so she was tension free. Jungkook's hacker is also checking the footages with her.

"If you'll go for looking all those turn by turn, it might take you an eternity." Adam, the hacker talked to her.

She thought about it. It surely was a time waste but Y/n didn't wanted to compromise anything. She was checking every single footage near the crime scene but as there were no cameras in the village so it was difficult and she had to check every nearby one.

"Then what can you suggest me to do?" She folded her arms and sighed.

"We can give them a hint, no? Like announce that we are finding those who did that crime." He suggested.

She grimaced in denial.

"That would make them alert. They would make the first move." She voiced.

"That's what we want. They will make a move in panic and that would make it easier for us to look for them." He kept his point.

"But they will get acknowledge about who is behind all those investigations we did about them and I don't want that. I can't lose anyone who is closer to me. I have very less of them." She spoke.

Adam understood her insecurities and nodded.

Jungkook entered the room and eyed Adam. He winked at Jungkook and left the room. Y/n didn't gave much of her attention to Jungkook.

He came towards her and sat in front of her on one of the chairs. Its nothing new, he is almost all the time with her.

"Good Evening, Chérie." He knew her weakness.

  She felt her knees weak even when she was sitting. Butterflies did somersault in her stomach. She didn't raised her eyes from the screen. She thought a lot about Jimin's words from before. He was truly, a great mafia who have hundred of other important works which needs much of his attention but here he is again with a new scheme of making up with her.

"I'm. busy." She stated firmly.

"I can see that Chérie." He smiled.

Its not like he isn't serious about Y/n's plans and all, its just he wants her to accept him as a companion with every step she takes. 

He does regrets distancing her because Lawrence wanted him to do so. As a human he have all rights to like whoever he wants and as a human Lawrence have all rights to make Y/n fall for him but if she don't wants to then she also have all rights to reject, whether its Jungkook or Lawrence. 

"Its already night and dark outside. I will drop you to your house." Jungkook offered. It was an assertive sentence cause he knew if he has stated interrogative, she would've gladly declined.

She checked the clock and noticed that it was quarter past nine. She suddenly felt worried for Sook for an unknown reason. It wasn't the first time she was late to return home but this time it gave her really bad vibes. She wanted to just teleport to her house, back to Sook.
