Don't take off the mask

Rosalie woke up with a startle after she had received a portion of her lost memories overnight 'so I did meet Erik when I was younger but then...how did I get sucked into the movie' she thought to herself

She heard a monkey music box and she felt that her phone was still on her she realized it could still work "what a mystery" Rosalie mumbled

She heard a soft piano music and she realized where she was she stuffed her phone back in the pocket of her dress and got up from the swan bed

"This is quite actually quite an extraordinary architecture" Rosalie said looking at the swan room with interest then started to walk out of the room

Rosalie: "🎶 I remember there was mist, swirling mist upon a vast glassy lake 🎶"

Rosalie went out of the room and saw Erik at his piano organ

Rosalie: "🎶 there were candles all around, and on the lake there was a boat, and in the boat there was a man 🎶"

Erik heard her voice and turned around to see her with a warm smile on his face he then turned around to focus on his music as Rosalie walked down

'This is the part of the movie I didn't like when Christine took off Erik's mask it really made Erik feel hurt and betrayed...I won't do it...I won't remove his mask' Rosalie thought to herself

Rosalie: "🎶 who was that shape in the shadows, whose is the face in the mask 🎶"

Rosalie touched his face gently and she traced the mask over his face almost as if it wasn't real...when Erik saw she made no move to remove his mask his next words were soft as he grasped her hand gently

Erik: "🎶 hello you, you little Diana you little goddess just what are doing to me 🎶"

Erik then kissed Rosalie's palm turning his gaze back on her

Erik: "🎶 kiss you?, you amazing aphrodite, you little vixen I wish you could stay here with me 🎶"

Rosalie turned her sights on the familiar lullaby and she slowly reached for the page "this is..." Rosalie said her eyes glued to the song

"You sang it when I found you that night 7 years ago it's too bad you left before I could hear you sing it again..." Erik said looking at Rosalie

Rosalie put down the page "I want to ask...how do you know me so well...I can't remember much of my past from when I was 13 to when I turned 16" Rosalie said

"Suppressed memories...I can't say I'm surprised it's been forever since you disappeared" Erik said as Rosalie's head started to hurt

Rosalie's pov

I held my head in pain as the memories tried to burst through my head "don't force yourself to remember but I wish on one thing you don't remember" Erik said

I stopped gripping my head in pain and looked at Erik "did I...happen to see you without your mask in the past" I said as Erik stayed silent

"Are you really that self conscious about what you look like under the mask" I said as Erik turned to face his organ his Adam's apple rolled swallowing

I stared suspiciously at him "so now you decide to be silent...tell me it wasn't a coincidence that my name was called out was it" I said

Erik stayed quiet "you know what I am don't you...you know I'm a goddess... please just tell me...please Erik" I said as Erik stood up

"come we must return those two fools who run my theater will be missing you" Erik said as he offered to take me back to above

Erik's pov

As soon as she left my Grasp I couldn't help but let out a deep sigh 'they told me not to say anything to her, she really doesn't know how much her sister and Ruby care about her' I thought to myself

I returned to my lair but then noticed a peculiar object on the ground it had a black screen and a red casing with a black rose imprint

"This must belong to her...they did tell me they came from the distant future but I suppose now I should believe them" I said holding the object in my hand then set it down to work on my music

3rd person pov

Rosalie didn't want to see anyone else at the moment besides her sister lily and her best friend Ruby "are you ok rose" Ruby said her nickname

Rosalie sighed and just leaned her head against the pillow "hey don't worry I'm sure everything will make sense soon" Lily said

Rosalie picked her head up from the pillow "really, then why do I have the suspicious feeling that you two knew I was going to get called instead of Christine" Rosalie said

Both Ruby and Lily paled at hearing this but Ruby cleared her throat "the cast just came in for IL Muto you know Carlotta is back" Ruby said

"Ugh as I can probably guess they will put me as the page boy instead of the countess not that I'm much surprised" Rosalie said

"But if I have to hear that damned singing from Carlotta I might rip my ears off my head" Rosalie said in dismay covering her ears at the thought

"We dread the thought of hearing her obnoxiously high voice" Lily said with a shiver "let's just hope the plot doesn't drop anymore than this" Ruby mumbled

"What was that?" Rosalie said looking at Ruby suspiciously "nothing" Ruby said sweating bullets Rosalie narrowed her eyes suspiciously at Ruby

"You two are acting rather suspicious since we got here do you guys want to tell me something" Rosalie said glaring at them

"Nope" they both said in unison "let's go we have a month of preparation for IL Muto so we have to get ready" Lily said dragging Rosalie away
